Writers get better by writing every day, so maybe incentivize people to post every day?

Well, it's kind of incentivized because you can't get points without posting. Maybe a leader board would make it more competitive/exciting, and encourage people to try to post more interesting things?

and a function that searches for a random word or phrase. also I want 'fake' accounts that post famous quotes daily like an emmerson account or like stephen hawking or some shit. id program that one

I'm working on the quotes thing. I think people should get some sort of points for commenting on other peoples thoughts. That way you don't just get points for posting stuff but you also get points for communicating with others.
