If you're doing the thing then you don't need to be stressed out about the thing |

The basic rhymes in English are masculine, which is to say that the last syllable of the line is stressed: 'lane' rhymes with 'pain,' but it also rhymes with 'urbane' since the last syllable of 'urbane' is stressed. 'Lane' does not rhyme with 'methane.' |

It's important to be gentle about my routines. I've learned that the hard way. When I'm really stressed out, I can take it out on my body and hurt myself. Sometimes I need to be as loving and soft with myself as possible. I've had to learn how to pay attention. It's a kind of mind-set. |

Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended. But what you're doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you. |

I like the laid-back ladies. Looks are stressed so much these days, and a lot of girls feel they need to do all of these weird and wonderful things to look good, and they really don't. The best-looking girls don't do anything; they just sort of know they're beautiful, especially in jeans and a hoodie. |

There's always going to be someone out there... who doesn't believe in you or who thinks your head is too big or you're not smart enough. But those are the people you need to ignore, and those are the times you need to just keep doing what you love doing. |

Obviously you have to have rhythm. If you have rhythm, then you can play anything you need. If you have rhythm and you love music, then play and play and play until you get to where you want to get. If you can pay the rent, great. If you can't, then you'd better be having fun. |

If we don't build a company as influential as Google or Facebook, then we failed. I'm, like, perpetually stressed, honestly. |
Jennette McCurdy |
I get stressed out really easily. |

We are living in very challenging times. Pressured in the workplace and stressed out at home, people are trying to make sense of their lives. |

Exercise is really important to me - it's therapeutic. So if I'm ever feeling tense or stressed or like I'm about to have a meltdown, I'll put on my iPod and head to the gym or out on a bike ride along Lake Michigan with the girls. |

Last night I had a dream that I was taking an exam and Tina Fey was my teacher. It was one of those easy exams where you're supposed to know every answer but I didn't know any of them and was really stressed out about it. Good thing I'm not in school anymore!

A lot of cool sci fi about it, too if you're into that kind of thing. There was a show called stargate universe where they were trying to figure out what it all meant. And then it got cancelled...

I had a dream that involved this shopping center a lot for some reason. I went there with my parents and I went there with my violin to play a few times and it seemed like the past because I had my parent's old car. But then also in grad school, ppl were texting me asking where I was and I was like always at one of the places in the center. One was a steak n shake and ppl would text me and be like "where are you" and I'd tell them I was there and they asked me why and I was like I love milkshakes what don't you understand. And then I remember doing academic things and traveling with the lab but then having to leave one place early to go to France. One person knew that I knew this one guy that died and she was like asking me to tell other people what he had said to me and I was like I don't know. I think you guys know everything. I don't think he told me anything he didn't tell you but this really stressed me out for some reason that she thought I knew more. And I was sad and ppl didn'...

honestly one of my biggest takeaways from the past year is saying no to people and not letting people take advantage of my generosity. youre absolutely right, not everyone EARNS respect.
also, a lot of people say one thing and mean another. (if you know what i mea ;)) ) ((nah idk what i mean)

Trying to remember your dreams, in my experience, is doing these small things like telling yourself to write things down when you wake up or to think about what is possible/not possible while falling asleep. Or to say things out loud when you wake up. I don't remember to do these things until one day I say "if you do this thing it will help you remember." And then I find myself doing it. I think because you're not conscious the only way to influence these things is by priming your brain to do them. It just makes me think about how I could probably improve other areas of my life by just telling myself that if I do X, then Y will change or improve; by priming myself for better habits.

short bios, describe yourself in 60 characters, sort of thing. don't know if I'm into the prevalence they have in our lives. could be an interesting creative exercise but they usually into a couple labels that relate to our ideal self-concepts or something.

weird. cool. i don't understand the implications. m-theory says we have 11 dimensions. i don't know how many are spatial or wound up to make spatial dimensions. i wonder if these experiments are consistent with that sort of thing. from a more abstract standpoint it seems like the world is all just information and you can perceive it an infinite number of ways. 3 spatial dimensions seems like its just a perspective.
