I like Cinderella, I really do. She has a good work ethic. I appreciate a good, hard-working gal. And she likes shoes. The fairy tale is all about the shoe at the end, and I'm a big shoe girl. |

My friends started having children after college, while I was pursuing this crazy acting career and living hand to mouth. Plus, all my boyfriends were artists struggling to make a living. Having kids didn't make any sense - why would I take on more of a financial burden when I couldn't even afford a dog? |

I can't wait for my little sisters to start dating, because it will really be fun to pick on their boyfriends. |

The Earth reminded us of a Christmas tree ornament hanging in the blackness of space. As we got farther and farther away it diminished in size. Finally it shrank to the size of a marble, the most beautiful marble you can imagine. |
Robert Kiyosaki |
The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way. |
Mark Twain |
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. |

I still read romance, and I read suspense. I read them both. And part of it is, I like stories with strong characters, and I like stories where there's closure at the end. And I like stories where there's hope. That's a kind of empowerment. I think romance novels are very empowering, and I think suspense novels are, too. |

I was running track early in my years and I was breaking track records in sprint running. I was training and I wanted to be in the Olympics. I thought I was going to be able to win a gold medal, and my mind was pretty much set on 'this is what I want to do'. |

I ran track in high school very competitively, and then ran it D-1 at Boston University. I ran there on an athletic scholarship and chose BU because they had both a good track program and an arts program. |

I grew up an athlete. Track and field and dance. In track, I actually went to the Junior Olympics. I've always been very athletic. |

I had a dream that there was this shoe that could walk around by itself. It would float into the air and then slowly come back down again. I was in a mansion or something that was pretty creepy. There were some other people there and they all were really afraid of this shoe.

If you sit quietly long enough, you'll hear yourself telling you stories about who and what you are, and why you do the things you do. In fact, you'll never be able to stop telling yourself these stories.

I had a dream that I lived in some community. It seemed rural and consisted of 3 or 4 huge buildings with lots of little rooms. In this world, it was common knowledge that there were these huge wolves that lived in the forest. People said they were about 7 feet tall and 15 feet long (maybe twice the size of extinct dire wolves). I was outside on the roof of one of the buildings. I don't know what I was doing. I think I was doing chores or something. This building was 4 or 5 stories but not in all areas, so parts of the roof dropped off to two or three stories below. There was probably no one else outside at the time when I noticed a wolf even bigger than people talked about. It had black fur and was maybe 12 feet tall and 20 feet long. I was freaked the fuck out. It saw me and started climbing the building and I jumped off the top part to a few stories down and fell through the roof into the building so I could hide from the wolf. Then I just remember trying to warn people and wonderi...

I had a weird dream where I was in a liquor store or something and it had all these pool tables. I was buying candy and alcoholic beef jerky (no idea how that works). My parents showed up and told me to meet them somewhere and then left. My friend also showed up and told me I was taking too long and that we should leave. I said okay but then realized I had lost my shoe. I was looking for my shoe for a while and then went to check out and I had so much stuff I was going to buy and I kept pulling it out of my pockets.

"Had a manager a long time ago who wore a really nice hat outdoor (he was a little old fashioned). My co-workers and I found the exact same hat at the local mall and bought two. One was a 1/4 size larger, the other a 1/4 size smaller. Every now and then when he'd leave the hat in his office, for instance a trip to the restroom, we'd switch hats.
The questioning look on his face every time we switched was priceless. The size difference was just enough to mess with him, without making the hat look weird. I don't know if he every figured it out, it went on for a year and was still going on the day I left."

I had a dream I was stuck in some kind of machinery. I was with other people but then we got in these metal things that were really just a platform and a few bars keeping you from falling off the side and they hovered around. This one went way up in the air in this huge indoor auditorium -- like 5 stories high. Then it was up against the ceiling and I had to take a test or something. I was afraid it was going to fall down but it didn't.

I had a dream that this dragonfly was flying around my house. It was about the size of my hand and it looked like it was made of tiny little balloons of all different colors, but the main color was green. I picked it up and it wasn't moving very much and I realized that it had another mosquito-like fly attached to it that I think was killing it. I removed the mosquito and the dragonfly balloons inflated to about twice the size and it started flying around the room really fast.
