2. What’s your claim to fame? "i was famous, I claim" |

Billy Baldwin |
When you become famous, you start getting invites to parties where there are famous athletes and famous rock stars, politicians, people who have tremendous power and affluence. It's not in my DNA, but certainly I have been exposed to it. |
Troy Baker |
I don't ever want it to be about me. A friend of mine told me, 'The difference between fame and notoriety is fame is when people know you, and notoriety is when people know your work.' The first one is not respectable, but the second one is, because that leaves a legacy. |
Dave Attell |
I get recognized, but I'm not really a famous famous. |
Josh Gad |
The actual truth about Gad is it's one of the original 13 tribes of Israel, so you can actually trace my lineage back to, like, those guys who had, like, a hand in the Bible and have since become very famous from that. So I come from very famous lineage. Granted, they didn't have cameras back then, so none of them had TV shows. |
Kevin Bacon |
Any idiot can get laid when they're famous. That's easy. It's getting laid when you're not famous that takes some talent. |
Michael Caine |
In the sixties, everyone you knew became famous. My flatmate was Terence Stamp. My barber was Vidal Sassoon. David Hockney did the menu in a restaurant I went to. I didn't know anyone unknown who didn't become famous. |
Lucius Accius |
Indeed, wretched the man whose fame makes his misfortunes famous. |
Matt Damon |
Fame is really strange. One day you're not famous, and then the next day you are, and the odd thing is that you know intellectually that nothing in the world is different. What mattered to you yesterday are the same things that matter today, and the rules all still apply - yet everyone looks at you differently. |
Tom Felton |
And to me, fame is not a positive thing. The idea of being famous is a lot better than the reality. It's fantastic when you go to premieres and people cheer you, but it's not real. And it's totally not my approach to get my name on a club door just because I can. |
Clive James |
A life without fame can be a good life, but fame without a life is no life at all. |

Oh, apparently we're past 1000 thoughts! And I know there is an anonymous account but I want users to be able to claim and disown thoughts and have an option when posting to post anonymously.

so you should be able to write a program to generate all possible combinations, play them, an claim copyright over every future song as being derivative of one of yours.

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ANTICHRIST: 1. He comes from among ten kings in the restored Roman Empire; his authority will have similarities to the ancient Babylonians, Persians, and Greeks [Daniel 7:24; Rev 13:2 / Daniel 7:7]
2. He will subdue three kings [Daniel 7:8, 24]
3. He is different from the other kings [Daniel 7:24]

Researchers Fool ReCAPTCHA With Google's Own Speech-To-Text Service
Researchers at the University of Maryland have managed to trick Google's reCaptcha system by using Google's own speech-to-text service. "[The researchers] claim that their CAPTCHA-fooling method, unCaptcha, can fool Google's reCaptcha, one of the most popular CAPTCHA systems currently used by hundreds of thousands of websites, with a 90 percent success rate," reports Motherboard. From the report: The researchers originally developed UnCaptcha in 2017, which uses Google's own free speech-to-text service to trick the system into thinking a robot is a human. It's an oroborus of bots: According to their paper, UnCaptcha downl...

Some things in this article are poorly defined or supported. Overall, I think it's an obvious claim and that people's immense existential insecurity is what keeps religion alive. That and over-generalization and misattribution of observations and patterns.
"Its advocates would be well advised to stop fabricating an enemy out of religion, or insisting that the only path to a secure future lies in a marriage of science and secularism" - what is a "secure future"? Yeah, there are some famous people listed in the article, but I think most scientists stay out of this stuff. There are so many scientists that are religious. People compartmentalize. ...

"Today mother died. Or maybe yesterday; I can't be sure." This alludes to his claim that life is engrossed by the absurd. He believed that the absurd – life being void of meaning, or man's inability to know that meaning if it were to exist – was something that man should embrace. He argued that this crisis of self could cause a man to commit "philosophical suicide"; choosing to believe in external sources that give life (what he would describe as false) meaning. He argued that religion was the main culprit. If a man chose to believe in religion – that the meaning of life was to ascend to heaven, or some similar afterlife, that he committed philosophical suicide by trying to escape the absurd.
