I'm terrified of bugs and I travel with sprays, lotions, potions; the lot. I have to check the room before I go to sleep and if I come across a bug and fail to remove it I have to sleep in a separate room as I'm paranoid that I'll be taken advantage of as I sleep. |

Some people see acting as a kind of stroll on the beach, and some people see it as a kind of skydive. And I've had lots of strolls on the beach in my life, so I'd like to do a skydive. |

One of my favorite vacation places is Miami, because of the people, the water and the beach - of course - and the architecture on Miami Beach is so wonderful. |

Decades of research have shown that most happy families communicate effectively. But talking doesn't mean simply 'talking through problems,' as important as that is. Talking also means telling a positive story about yourselves. |

Britain is one of the world's most open economies. More dependent on trade than any other major country. Our success depends on our competitiveness and our competitiveness depends on raising our productivity, as our competitors are raising theirs. |

I actually used to make these little plays. I would stand there, and I would act out where I was dying or something. I would make them sit there and watch all my plays. I would be talking in gibberish language, like I was talking in a different language, and my parents would be like, 'Oh that was great!' and I'd be like, 'Wait, it's not done!' |

How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon? |

Which form of proverb do you prefer Better late than never, or Better never than late? |

There is an immeasurable distance between late and too late. |

My goal is to get home every day in time for dinner with the family - and then we play with the kids for a while, and then I go to bed around the time they do and sleep from nine to three or nine to four. It's the same six hours everyone else gets. I'd just rather do my e-mails and my reading in the morning rather than late at night, that's all. |

I had a dream where I knew I was sleeping but I thought I had to get up early and go to work. I tried to wake myself up and eventually I did wake up but then I remembered that I did not have to get up early. I didn't even really have to go to work. It's weird when you know you're asleep though.

A very memorable dream/nightmare from my *very* early childhood, like 2 or 3 years old.
Background: In real life, I had a little teddy bear that had a sound or vibration box inside it, meant to be evocative of the mother's heartbeat while in the womb, it's supposed to be cozy or comforting. It turned on with a little knob that you twist, which you access in the back behind a velcro flap. Anyway, I did like that bear, and I liked snuggling it.
More background: When i was really little, I must have seen some kind of zelda movie (wait...is zelda what I mean? I'm referring to those movies abo...

Release Date: Early 1994 Disappearance Date: Early 2000's
Shazam was played on Disney Channel a lot. At first it was movie and then later became a short-lived series. It really hurt Sinbad's career.
Movie Actors: Sinbad, Jonathan Brandis
Johnathan Brandis was in the movie, but not the series. Possibly Danny Pintauro, Brian Bonsall, or Johnathan Taylor Thomas could have replaced him. ...

Most people who don't want to do the PhD realize that they can leave and make a lot of money early on. The people who really want to do research and stay usually value money less.

I had a dream that I showed up to work at Google, but I was a week early and totally unprepared. I was living in an apartment building that also had a bunch of businesses in it, and you would walk down the hall past doors open to people's rooms (it was more like a dorm in that sense) and then past a UPS place. It was very strange, and had a reputation for not being very safe.

Screen Time Changes Structure of Kids' Brains, NIH Study Shows
Brain scans of adolescents who are heavy users of smartphones, tablets and video games look different from those of less active screen users, preliminary results from an ongoing study funded by the National Institutes of Health show, according to a report on Sunday by "60 Minutes." That's the finding of the first batch of scans of 4,500 nine- to 10-year-olds. Scientists will follow those children and thousands more for a decade to see how childhood experiences, including the use of digital devices, affect their brains, emotional development and mental health.

I carried a stuffed animal with me till I was plenty old enough to not do that. My family thought I was a pussy, but I've realized over the years it was actually me experiencing existential problems early on in my life and that was just how I dealt with it as a child. I bring this up because it was a simba stuffed animal and this dance show played hakuna matata. i did end up giving that toy to a girl who ended up losing it or throwing it away or something. kinda symbolic lol gave an important part of me and it was trashed lmao. #philosophia

A Hacker 'Hero' Has Been Banned From Cyber Conferences After Decades Of Inappropriate Behavior (
John Draper, a prankster hero to an early generation of hackers, used his status at cybersecurity conferences to arrange private meetings with teenage fans and a reporter where he touched them inappropriately, multiple men have told BuzzFeed News. The allegations are the latest in what has become in recent weeks an explosion of sexual misconduct reports that have roiled a seemingly endless list of industries, from Hollywood to the news media to the Alabama Senate race. As in many of those other cases, Draper's actions were well known to at least a core of people who had regular contact with him. Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak told BuzzFeed News that Steve Jobs once told him that Draper, an ear...
