I carried a stuffed animal with me till I was plenty old enough to not do that. My family thought I was a pussy, but I've realized over the years it was actually me experiencing existential problems early on in my life and that was just how I dealt with it as a child. I bring this up because it was a simba stuffed animal and this dance show played hakuna matata. i did end up giving that toy to a girl who ended up losing it or throwing it away or something. kinda symbolic lol gave an important part of me and it was trashed lmao. #philosophia |

All music is dance music. But when people think of dance music, they think of techno or just house. Anything you can dance to is dance music. I don't care if it's classical, funk, salsa, reggae, calypso; it's all dance music. |

I've realized as well after five years of being on the road that if I'm going to four or five months of my life to something even if I'm overpaid, it's four or five months of my life away from home, away from my son, away from family and friends. I better believe in it on some level even if it's a big movie. |

I think kids are natural actors. You watch most kids; if they don't have a toy, they'll pick up a stick and make a toy out of it. Kids will daydream all the time. |

Honestly, I try to forget Fashion Week once it's over. I just want to go home and rest and just forget I even did it. It could drive you crazy! It's just show after show after show, and you're missing your family and they feel really far away. You don't go to sleep. You work for a month. |

I was just taught very early that if I didn't solve problems, I was headed for a very dark path. Problems were everywhere. Now, even if there are no problems, I look for problems. I'm like, 'You know what? I don't like the way this spoon works. I want to design a new spoon.' |

My father actually moved out from Chicago just so he could play tennis 365 days a year, so it was - it was a place we played every day. We played before school. We played after school. We woke up. We played tennis. We brushed our teeth in that order. |

Having a dance background, I became used to rejection at an early age. Dance is very competitive, especially for a sensitive person like me. But I realized it's better not to take it so seriously. If you beat yourself up, it's hard to keep going. |

Just as our ancient ancestors drew animals on cave walls and carved animals from wood and bone, we decorate our homes with animal prints and motifs, give our children stuffed animals to clutch, cartoon animals to watch, animal stories to read. |

Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come. |

Heaven knows that there are plenty of opportunities in later life, too, for being carried away. What of it? We remain what we are and, no doubt, it is all very good for us! |

I had a dream and I only remember part of it but I think I found a snake and I picked it up and threw it at this other animal. I think the other animal was a dog maybe? I am not sure. I also wasn't trying to hurt either of them. It was a very neutral snake throwing, but the snake totally killed the dog.

I had a dream that I followed some girl into an apartment and I was talking to her and she was saying some things that sounded like English but didn't make any sense. She was going through the fridge and then walked into a bedroom. I followed her and then I realized that she was a robot version of a girl I use to know. For some reason this then made it obvious to me that the not robot version of her also lived in the apartment. Then the dream got weird. I snuck into the other room when it was dark and the real girl and some dude were there. The girl couldn't see me but I kept moving around and making noise enough that the guy thought someone else was in the room, but the girl didn't notice. It was like I was purposely trying to freak out this guy. Eventually they both realized someone was there and I ran away. They didn't find me.

I had a dream that there were these two aquatic animals and they were both parasites but one was like the size of a squirrel and one was like a small beetle. The larger one attached it self to some cat sized aquatic mammal, like a beaver or something and it was trying to kill the animal to feed it's babies and then the small parasite latched onto the bigger one and triggered something to happen to it and it's head opened up and there was this exposed brain and it was dying at the same time the larger animal was dying. So weird.

I watched all of the show Lost Girl and I thought it was really interesting. I wasn't particularly fond of the plot or setting or any of that but the characters and their interactions were something I've not seen in a TV show before.

Alright so yesterday I woke up with the top of my foot having a weird scab that I somehow got in the middle of the night. Almost felt like glass was stuck in there. Today I see it is clearly 4 separate marks (something bit me? there is a rogue mouse around but do they bite like a spider might?) and anyway I'm looking at it and 3 are in the shape of orions belt (2 large ones and an off center third) and the 4th one is kinda up and over and much bigger. Looking up the orion constellation I find that this is Bellatrix (the big cut)
Looking more into Bellatrix, here is the information I find most unusual:

New Study Suggests Humans Lived In North America 130,000 Years Ago
In 1992, archaeologists working a highway construction site in San Diego County found the partial skeleton of a mastodon, an elephant-like animal now extinct. Mastodon skeletons aren't so unusual, but there was other strange stuff with it. "The remains were in association with a number of sharply broken rocks and broken bones," says Tom Demere, a paleontologist at the San Diego Natural History Museum. He says the rocks showed clear marks of having been used as hammers and an anvil. And some of the mastodon bones as well as a tooth showed fractures characteristic of being whacked, apparently with those stones. It looked like the work of humans. Yet there were no cut marks on the bones showing that the animal was butchered...
