I would live off bitcoins as I have a much stronger belief in the "goodness" of btc compared to a very very inflated american dollar. Between providing for yourself and using bitcoins, thats all you need to have the best of both worlds IMO. granted this has all been idealistic but thats what im getting at. I dont want to desire to go see movies or use fb or play video games. I desire to desire for simplicity.

A caterpillar that munches on plastic bags could hold the key to tackling plastic pollution, scientists say.
Researchers at Cambridge University have discovered that the larvae of the moth, which eats wax in bee hives, can also degrade plastic.
Experiments show the insect can break down the chemical bonds of plastic in a similar way to digesting beeswax.
Each year, about 80 million tonnes of the plastic polyethylene are produced around the world.
The plastic is used to make shopping bags and food packaging, among other things, but it can take hundreds of years to decompose completely.

Engineers Say They've Created Way To Detect Weapons Using Wi-Fi
The researchers, which include engineers from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), and Binghamton University, published a study this month detailing a method in which common wifi can be used to easily and efficiently identify weapons, bombs, and explosive chemicals in public spaces that don't typically have affordable screening options. The researchers' system uses channel state information (CSI) from run-of-the-mill wifi. Movie idea: find a bunch of random video clips and ask several people to put them in the "correct" order. Then find the order they agree most on and play them in order to make a trippy movie and do some small touches up to make it flow a little better. Then you can remove more frames from each successive scene to make it look like time is moving faster.

I had a dream that I was climbing around what seemed like a mix of a climbing gym and a playground structure for kids. It was bigger than some houses. I was following this guy who said he had chosen me to move into the house (play structure?) and I was like "oh... okay". I moved in and suddenly I had a kid or something and I told it to go outside and clean something but it was afraid of the white noise in the wind and the leaves in the trees outside. It was getting dark and I was trying to explain that the trees didn't want to hurt the kid but he didn't get it.
