I had a dream that I lived in some community. It seemed rural and consisted of 3 or 4 huge buildings with lots of little rooms. In this world, it was common knowledge that there were these huge wolves that lived in the forest. People said they were about 7 feet tall and 15 feet long (maybe twice the size of extinct dire wolves). I was outside on the roof of one of the buildings. I don't know what I was doing. I think I was doing chores or something. This building was 4 or 5 stories but not in all areas, so parts of the roof dropped off to two or three stories below. There was probably no one else outside at the time when I noticed a wolf even bigger than people talked about. It had black fur and was maybe 12 feet tall and 20 feet long. I was freaked the fuck out. It saw me and started climbing the building and I jumped off the top part to a few stories down and fell through the roof into the building so I could hide from the wolf. Then I just remember trying to warn people and wondering if the wolf would get bored and leave because it was too much trouble to break into the house. It was so big though it probably wouldn't have been that hard. |

The worst thing any decorator can do is give a client the feeling that he's walking around somebody else's house; the rooms must belong to the owner, not to the decorator; and no rooms can have atmosphere unless they are used and lived in. |

I've never looked at a suburban building as being a minor building and an urban building as being a major building. |

The rise of anime had to happen. If the Japanese could tell better American stories, it would go through the roof. They still tell stories which are very much oriental. I take my hat off to them. |

No matter what you're doing. I feel that everyone has something different that moves them or that appeals to them. Maybe something in your family or maybe something in your life that happened that really pushes you for a specific cause - as long as there is something that you're doing. |

I have plenty of dream roles because there is so much I want to do, but my dream year would be to be in a single-camera comedy and then, on my hiatus, film a little low-budget indie drama. That would be a dream 12-month period. A dream role depends on having good material and working with people that I can learn from. |

Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That's because they were able to connect experiences they've had and synthesize new things. |

Too much of Indian writing in English, it seemed to me, consisted of middle-class people writing about other middle-class people - and a small slice of life being passed off as an authentic portrait of the country. |

When I started out, everyone seemed to be adopting these names... Johnny Rotten, Sid Vicious. I wasn't really Rotten or Vicious or Nasty, so I wanted something a bit more funny - yet something that seemed real rock 'n' roll... something that acknowledged my ambition. |

No one ever said 'no' to me about anything. No one ever told me anything was wrong. Never. No one ever said, 'You can't be a fashion designer.' No one ever said, 'You're a boy and you can't take tap-dancing lessons.' No one ever said, 'You're a boy and you can't have long hair.' |

I had a dream that I lived in this building that looked like an old brick house on some private property but it was actually this apartment building and it was really tall. Someone showed up asking where his cocaine was and I said I don't know. He said he was going to call the cops, which doesn't really make sense... but for some reason, I was guilty of something and I went into one of the apartments and climbed out the window onto the roof with a couple other people. We waited on the roof and I peeked over the edge at one point and saw everyone being hauled off in handcuffs. They didn't find us on the roof.

I had another dream where I was in a building with some people and we went down this elevator and then there were buttons to go to other worlds. I had to go to this other one. I don't know why but I hit the button and when I came out the things that were walking around this building were like creepy crawling things with lots of legs. They were as small as rats and as tall as 4 or 5 feet but they always had some body parts that had way too many tentacles or antennae or legs. There didn't seem to be an outdoors, just a series of worlds connected by these elevators.

I had a dream that I lived somewhere closer to a mountain range. There was no civilization in view of my backyard. Just mountains. My cat came home through the snowy grass limping and her tail was missing. We got her inside and she was okay but then we saw these large and strange wolves approaching our house. They didn't look as fierce as real wolves. They were fluffier, but knowing that they were dangerous made them scarier somehow. We closed all the windows and doors (european style metal shutters) and waited for them to go away.

I had a really weird dream. I think I was in a cab with a friend and we were driving around this city where almost everything was under construction. We got out of the cab and my friend disappeared and I ended up in a park standing around a group of people who was listening to someone speak. A pack of wolves walked by in the distance and one ran up to me and hit my hand with his head as if to greet me or something. I walked toward the wolves and the next thing I remember is I was a woman wandering around this apartment trying to avoid people and there was a tiny fairy person about the size of my hand that I was carrying around. Not sure if I was also a fairy that just wasn't small or if I was human.

I had a dream that I lived in some world with a totalitarian government and that Ananda and I were trying to overthrow it. We were breaking into some building and we had lots of automatic weapons.

I had a dream that I lived in this strange house that could magically move and then the door would open up to a different building in a different place and then to the outside world. It was always attached to another building and never on the ground level. I don't know why but I think I was trying to hide from something.

I had a dream that I was in an apartment building. It would have been what we call "post-apocalypse", but in my view it is more of a gradual thing, so I feel we should really be more specific. It seemed to be post-capitalism, but before any system could replace the main functions of capitalism, so there were apartment buildings but no landlords. They were rundown. No places to buy food. Lots of violent crime. The apartment I was in looked really nice. It was like a nice secret hideout in a dystopian landscape. I had a roommate and I came out into the central room when I heard someone shouting loudly. Someone had gotten into the apartment and had a huge knife. They were trying to rob us or kill us and we were backing away toward the window. If we had to jump we'd probably die too. Then I woke up.

I had a mid-apocolyptic dream and I was traveling somewhere and a lot of churches and schools were in the same building because there weren't as many buildings and there were a lot of religious schools and things that weren't destroyed. I went down into the basement with some people and we were trying to get clean water and a lot of mud came out of the faucets and we were boiling the water and bugs were coming out of it and wriggling away. We thought that there was a bomb in one of the rooms so we started evacuating the building. I rented a house which was pretty cheap for some reason but there was a lot of rare artifacts and things in the house. There was a kid and his two parents that owned the house. I never saw the mom but 5 thieves came and shot the dad and then the kid went nuts and grabbed a gun and killed all the thieves. There was also another part of the dream where there was a bunch of moving conveyor belts and some people were getting stuck in the machinery but I don't rem...

I don't even know what my dreams were last night. I had two apartments in different parts of the city and one had a really cool layout but it had no windows except the one in the bathroom and it was like a tunnel cave and you had to walk through all the rooms to get to any other room. I also was dreaming that I was running around with these people that were not quite human and they lived in this forest and were running from some other human-like things that wanted to kill them. We ran through this forest and then through this field and found these giant frogs that make you hallucinate for some reason. I do not know why but then we were running around with frogs and it looked like we were running through a river but it was actually a field and I think the people chasing us started hallucinating and got lost.

I had a dream that I was in someone's house but it wasn't their normal house, it was this huge weird house that had all these rooms with open walls into stairwells and she lived there with her mom. For some reason, I was in the house but no one else was and there was a deer with big pointy antlers walking around and it was going to attack me and I ran in a room and closed the door and it was charging at the door and it's antlers were poking through. It was really angry.
