I watch mostly every martial arts movie... I really like movies that aren't just martial arts. I like movies that have spiritual meaning behind them, like samurai movies, or movies that have meditation. |
Antonio Banderas |
Listen, I think movies serve many different purposes, from those movies that are frivolous and just an entertainment, to movies that just go to exploring the complexities of the human soul. Everything is valid if it's done with honesty and dignity, and I actually do both of those types of movies in my career. |

I can't deal with the ears in 'Star Trek.' I only saw the first 'Star Wars' movie, and I don't think I saw an entire 'Star Trek' TV show, and I certainly didn't see the movie. I like 'Andy Griffith' and 'Deadwood.' |

As a kid, I sat transfixed watching Ray Harryhausen's '7th Voyage of Sinbad.' |

I am fortunate enough to have worked on, and continue to work on, evolutionary movies in all formats from just simple good story telling, which still matters most of all, to CG movies to tent-pole size 3D movies, and genre 3D movies like 'Piranha 3D.' |

I didn't know anything about movies or movie stars or the Academy or anything. I was just a blank sheet of paper. I was totally ignorant of all that stuff. I never went to the movies, didn't know anything about the movies. |
Martin Campbell |
You could say that Iron Man was a second-tier character, and it turned out very successfully. I simply think it's down to the movie itself, and whether people enjoy the movie, are involved in the movie, and that it entertains them. From that point of view, the movie has to stand alone. |
Michael Caine |
The difference between a movie star and a movie actor is this - a movie star will say, 'How can I change the script to suit me?' and a movie actor will say. 'How can I change me to suit the script?' |
Michael Irvin |
The movie, 'Remember the Titans,' is my favorite movie, staring Denzel Washington. I love the way in this movie the game of football brings those boys together, it unites those boys on that football field. It unites a whole town, black, white, old, young, rich and poor. |
Rahul Gandhi |
What I saw when I was a child was my father who was a pilot, and because of circumstances was thrown into the political system, and all I saw when was small after my grandmother died was my father in constant - constant combat with the system in India, and then I saw him die, actually. |

Release Date: Early 1994 Disappearance Date: Early 2000's
Shazam was played on Disney Channel a lot. At first it was movie and then later became a short-lived series. It really hurt Sinbad's career.
Movie Actors: Sinbad, Jonathan Brandis
Johnathan Brandis was in the movie, but not the series. Possibly Danny Pintauro, Brian Bonsall, or Johnathan Taylor Thomas could have replaced him. ...

I don't remember what my dream was two nights ago but I know it was super spooky. There was some weird condition where someone had to kill someone else or something. Dreams always have the funkiest things like that. I think my dreams would make good horror movies if I could remember them.

A very memorable dream/nightmare from my *very* early childhood, like 2 or 3 years old.
Background: In real life, I had a little teddy bear that had a sound or vibration box inside it, meant to be evocative of the mother's heartbeat while in the womb, it's supposed to be cozy or comforting. It turned on with a little knob that you twist, which you access in the back behind a velcro flap. Anyway, I did like that bear, and I liked snuggling it.
More background: When i was really little, I must have seen some kind of zelda movie (wait...is zelda what I mean? I'm referring to those movies abo...

I keep having weird dreams and thinking I'll remember them but then when I get out of bed I can't remember. I used to try to say them out loud because I think it helps you commit it to memory but I never feel like doing it and for some reason think I'll remember them anyway.

Movie idea: find a bunch of random video clips and ask several people to put them in the "correct" order. Then find the order they agree most on and play them in order to make a trippy movie and do some small touches up to make it flow a little better. Then you can remove more frames from each successive scene to make it look like time is moving faster.

i had a dream within a dream within a dream last night
in the deepest dream, which is the hardest to remember, I know there was something scary. I don't remember what exactly was scary, but I do remember it involved being in a spooky-looking basement, one of those that feels cold, drippy, moist like a cave, spider webs all over. I think this basement was pretty empty. I remember being in a stairway that led down to it, looking down into its depths, the golden light behind me fading darker with each step.
I remember being in the basement. I don't remember what was happening in there. I wasn...

Certainly the Matrix movies represent one of the most successful recent attempts to bring philosophical ideas to the general public, although many will confess to be ignorant of the central thesis of the movies and are therefore also dissatisfied with them. This is understandable, since the Wachowski Brothers may not be attempting to convey a definitive thesis, but also because one needs an extensive philosophical background to grasp the ideas and debates that are conveyed in the movies. Within the three movies there occurs a variety of social and philosophical commentary, and this commentary is obscured simply by the fact that the mode of presentation is highly symbolic. Also, the story of the Matrix movies represent not only certain substantive claims and ideas concerning the nature of reality and the human condition, but further communicates the general effect of philosophy on those who engage in it. In what follows an attempt will be made to interpret some of the symbolism of the ...

Probably has to do with how you think about numbers. It's not easy for everyone to remember phone numbers. Phone numbers are grouped into parts. You have an area code, then three digits, then four digits. You might have an association in your head for area codes. I know when I think of a friend I think of where they grew up and then I remember the area code, then I just have to remember 7 digits. From what I read about memory techniques, it's easier to remember if you have an image or association. You could do something like, assign a person, place, and action to each digit. Then in three digit groupings, if you have a number like 517, you could say 5 is the person 'Santa', 1 is the location 'the zoo' and 7 is 'eating a cake' and then you'd remember that image and be able to get the number back from your mapping. There are lots of tricks like this for names, numbers, etc. I think people probably subconsciously develop some sort of less complicated representations and certain things ar...
