so me and my coworker had somewhat of a heart to heart. except they still think that they were just 'taking a break' when they were interrupting me and the other programmer who were actually working on something. they proceeded to tell me that they always used to just talk all the time at work and that i never take breaks from work. also they told me that she had discussed a specific interaction of ours with "someone else" (the girl she was iming in the other room for sure) and so her manipulative-ness sprung into action to get one of the other co workers on her side im sure. gotta spread the word that im the bad guy and that she is flawless. ok.. doesnt admit that she fucked me over the other day by lying. and still thinks she has every right to ask me all the time what im doing because she 'wants to learn programming stuff eventually'. been thinking about what healthy skepticism of science looks like. Scientists are skeptical of science themselves. It's part of the nature of the profession. In fact, is having a skeptic perspective of scientific notions a scientific perspective in and of itself? Maybe not, maybe it depends on where the skepticism comes from or where it leads.
At the mention of skepticism of science, we might think of a group that gets a lot of attention and ridicule--flat earthers. In my opinion, it'd do some good to shift the discourse about flat earthers a bit. Will/might come back to what I was going to say about flat earthers because I'm about to play stardew valley...

Darkest dream I've had in a long time: I was an android hanging out with a group of friends to learn how to talk. They were being crappy and at one point left me behind. Android me realized that no matter how well it functioned it would never fulfill its purpose because they were just not good people. Then it realized it could not hang itself because it doesn't breath, so it hired someone to stab it to death.

Sounds good to me. Along the lines of being grounded in a relative sense, I think you can develop notions of limitations which are really non-constructive. I think if you are ungrounded or grounded in a non-relative sense it doesn't feel that way. Or, it is more apparent that those limits don't exist. It's hard to be aware of things...

If we do nothing to reduce our carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, by the end of this century the Earth will be as hot as it was 50 million years ago in the early Eocene, according to a new study out today in the journal Nature Communications. This period -- roughly 15 million years after dinosaurs went extinct and 49.8 million years before modern humans appeared on the scene -- was 16F to 25F warmer than the modern norm. I feel like it's possible someone could grow up in this world at a time when competitive math competitions are more popular than major sports games are now. And they'd have announcers and live audiences going crazy and stuff and they'd be like "ohhh looks like he did the carry wrong! But he's got one more chance!"... not a prediction or anything just like doesn't seem that far off from reality.

...who are you to say what is right? I like the beyond good and evil quote and I agree. Real in one sense is what is tangible, but the imagination is also real although it is not tangible. The visions you have in your head are real, but they are not happening in this dimension at least. Time is a way to experience sensuality and willpower imo.
