...who are you to say what is right? I like the beyond good and evil quote and I agree. Real in one sense is what is tangible, but the imagination is also real although it is not tangible. The visions you have in your head are real, but they are not happening in this dimension at least. Time is a way to experience sensuality and willpower imo. |

Mencius |
Evil exists to glorify the good. Evil is negative good. It is a relative term. Evil can be transmuted into good. What is evil to one at one time, becomes good at another time to somebody else. |
Bill James |
Some people give themselves over to their most evil desires, and those people becomes evil. But in general, it's reductive to think of evil as something foreign and separate from the rest of us. Evil is part of everyone. We all have the capacity to commit evil acts. |
Terry Eagleton |
People do evil things because they are evil. Some people are evil in the way that some things are coloured indigo. They commit their evil deeds not to achieve some goal, but just because of the sort of people they are. |
Robert Anton Wilson |
All phenomena are real in some sense, unreal in some sense, meaningless in some sense, real and meaningless in some sense, unreal and meaningless in some sense, and real and unreal and meaningless in some sense. |

Albert Camus's 'La Peste' - 'The Plague' - had an enormous impact on me when I read it in high school French class, and I chose my senior yearbook quote from it. In college, I wrote a philosophy class paper on Camus and Sartre, and again chose my yearbook quote from 'La Peste.' |
Ansel Adams |
There are worlds of experience beyond the world of the aggressive man, beyond history, and beyond science. The moods and qualities of nature and the revelations of great art are equally difficult to define; we can grasp them only in the depths of our perceptive spirit. |
Vicente del Bosque |
Football has an important role to play in society. Players should have a sense of social responsibility, have a moral dimension to them which shows up in good conduct. |
Steve Ballmer |
My children - in many dimensions they're as poorly behaved as many other children, but at least on this dimension I've got my kids brainwashed: You don't use Google, and you don't use an iPod. |
Paul Feig |
I was brought up in a very religious household and did a lot of praying throughout a big part of my life and always thought of God as being not only a powerful father figure and the ruler of all time and dimension but also as a friend with whom I could chat and ask questions to and get advice from. |
Napoleon Hill |
Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements. |

It is an experience that our mind presents for us and the dictation of time by our minds rules everyday life. So in a sense you are right, but in another sense I'm not sure you understand what the term "real" means.

No one shares an imagination, and every second of reality spurs mental pictures. Just because we can't communicate our experience of reality fully to another person doesn't mean that what we are seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, etc. isn't real.

youtube comment about buket tko - "That's what real mobbing is. Getting up everywhere & fucking shit up. Straight not giving a fuck. He don't care if you like his steez or not. Your still gonna be seeing his shit everywhere you go until you respect him. Like Chaka & many other old school writers from LA & NY. Only real graff kings know what I mean. If you think too much about someone and you don't talk to them they aren't real anymore. They exist in your head but they're not the same person.

I want more cookies, but I really don't want more cookies. My ratio of real food to cookies an ice cream is embarrassingly low if you look at my last 24 hours. Also, I skipped class for the first time this semester to work on 545, and I feel kind of bad about it. Not because I didn't have a good enough reason, but because I believe it's important to be present in class, and I wish I had budgeted my time better so I could have gone to lecture.

The Allegory of the Cave
Plato realizes that the general run of humankind can think, and speak, etc., without (so far as they acknowledge) any awareness of his realm of Forms.
The allegory of the cave is supposed to explain this.
In the allegory, Plato likens people untutored in the Theory of Forms to prisoners chained in a cave, unable to turn their heads. All they can see is the ...

I had a dream that there was a dollhouse or something and that people in the real world could be put in the dollhouse and they'd be like copies of the people. Inside the dollhouse, there were these giant slug things that would latch on to people and suck the life out of them. The people were trying to escape. They thought that they were the real people and didn't know that they were copies.
