Back in the Rat Pack days, we'd take Frank's plane and sit dead center, because of Nancy. We'd watch the Rat Pack in the center ring and you couldn't ask for a better thing. |
Hans Urs von Balthasar |
Whoever removes the Cross and its interpretation by the New Testament from the center, in order to replace it, for example, with the social commitment of Jesus to the oppressed as a new center, no longer stands in continuity with the apostolic faith. |
Ryan Adams |
Writing and creating, those things come to me on their own. I feel like... you sort of summon them and it's like allowing the universe to enter your heart in an entirely different way to what it normally does. It's like inviting that energy of the universe to enter into your craft in a way where it has a meaning. |
Hans Urs von Balthasar |
If one does away with the fact of the Resurrection, one also does away with the Cross, for both stand and fall together, and one would then have to find a new center for the whole message of the gospel. |
JJ Feild |
The greatest gift children can give you is that, for the first time, you're not the center of your own universe. |
Nicolas Cage |
The best characters are the ones that somehow manage to be both attractive and repulsive at the same time. If you do that, you're at the center of the universe - if you can find characters who are more ambiguous and can raise more questions than answers. |
Richard M. Nixon |
Watergate had become the center of the media's universe, and during the remaining year of my presidency the media tried to force everything else to revolve around it. |
Lucius Annaeus Seneca |
A physician is not angry at the intemperance of a mad patient, nor does he take it ill to be railed at by a man in fever. Just so should a wise man treat all mankind, as a physician does his patient, and look upon them only as sick and extravagant. |
Cass Canfield |
A publisher should always be on the receiving end. He should take an interest in almost any subject and remain anonymous, letting the author take center stage. |
Louis Farrakhan |
I am not the same man I was 35 years ago. And I hope that five years and ten years from now, I'll be a better man, a more mature man, a wiser man, a more humble man and a more spirited man to serve the good of my people and the good of humanity. |

"i think the smallest things we do can cause entire dimensional shifts or tangent/parallel paths for us to take. like a deep conversation or a series of events can fundamentally change our universe and the path we (as spiritual beings) are on. like little positive moments (or negative too) can be the seeds for total change in our world, and like the butterfly effect it will affect eternally, the entire universe, from the tiniest random experiences.
"Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence."

CERN Scientists Conclude that the Universe Should Not Exist (ign.com)
Scientists at CERN are bemused as to why the universe exists, according to a new study. From a report, shared by a reader: Recent discoveries suggest that there's a perfect symmetry between matter and antimatter - meaning it's not clear why they didn't annihilate each other upon the birth of the universe. CERN's latest study sought to find out whether different magnetic properties accounted for matter's seeming victory after the Big Bang, but found another point of symmetry. Essentially, going by our findings so far, there simply shouldn't be a universe.

I had a dream that involved this shopping center a lot for some reason. I went there with my parents and I went there with my violin to play a few times and it seemed like the past because I had my parent's old car. But then also in grad school, ppl were texting me asking where I was and I was like always at one of the places in the center. One was a steak n shake and ppl would text me and be like "where are you" and I'd tell them I was there and they asked me why and I was like I love milkshakes what don't you understand. And then I remember doing academic things and traveling with the lab but then having to leave one place early to go to France. One person knew that I knew this one guy that died and she was like asking me to tell other people what he had said to me and I was like I don't know. I think you guys know everything. I don't think he told me anything he didn't tell you but this really stressed me out for some reason that she thought I knew more. And I was sad and ppl didn'...

I used to think that if you ate pennies a money tree would grow inside of your stomach. Now i know that the universe makes way less sense than that.

A lot of cool sci fi about it, too if you're into that kind of thing. There was a show called stargate universe where they were trying to figure out what it all meant. And then it got cancelled...

You should recognize that the universe is chaos and a lot of things in your life will happen by accident. Its all about setting yourself up for the right kind of chaos.

Humans are gods by default. Were the most powerful, conscious force observable. As time goes on, even the laws of nature are identified and manipulated for our benefit. The universe is our plaything and our potential is infinite.
