Like the first hood is menacing enough you know? But when he takes it up to level two thats when the blood starts flyin. |

I've realized that being happy is a choice. You never want to rub anybody the wrong way or not be fun to be around, but you have to be happy. When I get logical and I don't trust my instincts - Thats when I get in trouble. |
Timothy Dalton |
On one level, I would prefer never to hear the words 'James Bond' again, but on another level, it is part of my blood and my life. And it's the only movie in the world that offers a British actor the chance of international recognition. |
Martin Feldstein |
A rise in the level of saving can reduce aggregate activity temporarily but only a sustained high level of saving makes it possible to have the sustained high level of business investment that contributes to the long-run growth of output. |
Feist |
When you say something or sing something enough times, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's almost like casting spells. I don't mean necessarily in the flighty, 'I'm going to go buy a cloak with a hood now' way. |
H. L. Mencken |
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. |
William Dampier |
While we were at work there came nine or 10 of the natives to a small hill a little way from us, and stood there menacing and threatening of us, and making a great noise. At last one of them came towards us, and the rest followed at a distance. |
Sholom Aleichem |
A cantor, when he starts singing, it's like rain - once it starts, it's hard to stop. |
Zach Galifianakis |
You know, sometimes if you work - if you do a lot of takes and you work long hours, for me, at least, there is a delirium that starts kicking in on the fifteenth hour, and that can help. Below the just thirteenth hour is where I have a concern, because everybody's so tired. |
David Bailey |
Fashion often starts off beautiful and becomes ugly, whereas art starts off ugly sometimes and becomes beautiful. |
Taissa Farmiga |
First off, I could never become a doctor. Blood? Even the fake blood on 'American Horror Story,' I'm kind of ready to hurl. |

I had a dream that I was asleep and kept waking up in pools of blood around my head like I was drooling blood or something. After a while I stood up and all this stuff started falling out of my mouth. Like teeth and blood and flesh and all sorts of stuff.

I had a dream that someone broke into someone else's house and this guy had a gun and he shot the person and it turns out it was a kid and the kid died and his blood spattered everywhere and there was this other kid that lived there and I just remember how that kid looked with the spatter of some other kids blood all over him.

Type A Blood Converted To Universal Donor Blood With Help From Bacterial Enzyme
For a transfusion to be successful, the patient and donor blood types must be compatible. Now, researchers analyzing bacteria in the human gut have discovered that microbes there produce two enzymes that can convert the common type A into a more universally accepted type. If the process pans out, blood specialists suggest it could revolutionize blood donation and transfusion. To up the supply of universal blood, scientists have tried transforming the second most common blood, type A, by removing its "A-defining" antigens. But they've met with limited success, as the known enzymes that can strip the red blood cell of the offending sugars aren't efficient enough to do the job economically. ...

Customer at subway "wants to speak to the manager"
I worked at a subway that didn't have any authority/managers, just a couple minimum wage base level workers. I don't remember what this particular customer was mad about but she was arguing with me and didn't like the answer I gave her. She asked to speak to the manager, and there not being a manager I decided to promote myself on the spot and replied with "manager speaking, how can I help you." This did not make her very happy because she realized she was not going to get a different answer and asked for a phone number to call. The owner has specifically told us never to give his cell number to customers so i gave her the store number. She gives me a shit eating grin thinking about how much trouble she's about to get me in when the phon...
