nothing. just a lot of the positions are either less than i want to be paid or part time, so flying down for interviews for a part time job and relocating is kinda dumb. and a lot of the full time positions probably arent contacting me cuz i clearly state i am located in michigan. i think ill apply more seriously this summer |

I think Michigan keeps you sane and on an even keel through the ups and downs. In Michigan, I do fireworks, shovel snow and live life. |

In case you haven't heard, my girlfriends and I have declared the summer of 2012 as the best summer ever. The best way to document said 'best summer ever' is with a good ol' disposable camera. Smile, click, move on! Nobody gets pic approval, and there's no time wasted gathering around the camera to analyze a moment that just happened. |

I do what I did as a hobby as a kid, you know, and make a living at it. And I just feel like I'm one of the luckiest guys in the world 'cuz I get paid to make toys and play with them. |

I bought a company in the mid-'90s called Dexter Shoe and paid $400 million for it. And it went to zero. And I gave about $400 million worth of Berkshire stock, which is probably now worth $400 billion. But I've made lots of dumb decisions. That's part of the game. |

If someone's dumb enough to offer me a million dollars to make a picture, I'm certainly not dumb enough to turn it down. |

It's about getting the kids up and fed, getting one to school, getting the other down for a nap, going to the grocery store, picking one up from school, getting the other one down for another nap, cooking dinner... I live my life at these two extremes. I'm either a full-time stay-at-home mom or a full-time actress. |

Without touching my subject I want to come to the moment when, through pure concentration of seeing, the composed picture becomes more made than taken. Without a descriptive caption to justify its existence, it will speak for itself - less descriptive, more creative; less informative, more suggestive - less prose, more poetry. |

My folks made me a Jawa costume for the Halloween after 'Star Wars' opened in '77. In '78, when it was re-released, I was hired by the local cinema to be the Jawa: to dress up all summer long, and I could frighten people with my Jawa sounds and my Jawa outfit and watch 'Star Wars Episode IV' all summer long and get paid with movie passes. |

I take people very seriously. People are all I take seriously, in fact. Therefore, I have nothing but sympathy for how people behave - and nothing but laughter to console them with. |

Area 51 is located in southern Nevada desert about 75 miles north of Las Vegas. It's set inside a greater land parcel that's about the size of the state of Connecticut that's called the 'Nevada Test and Training Range.' |

Considering super positions: life & death, etc, are very disheartening in my quest to finish d=18" of pizza. Time is merely a construct my mind has rendered to simulate pizzagonal pleasure while making sense of all this stupid space dust reverberating amongst the music described by pesky cosmic background microwave radiation.

The opposing view is that time does not refer to any kind of "container" that events and objects "move through", nor to any entity that "flows", but that it is instead part of a fundamental intellectual structure

One view is that time is part of the fundamental structure of the universe ? a dimension independent of events, in which events occur in sequence.

This is the last time I'll post here while procrastinating a machine learning assignment (assuming no revisions need to be made after the poster presentation). A reflection on my first year of grad school: I have never been so consistently miserable. Sure, undergrad was hard, especially senior year when I was cramming in an entire computer science minor, but the challenge was rewarding. The huge class sizes at Michigan are demoralizing. It feels like a factory. Being on the instructor side as a GSI is equally frustrating. I don't actually know how everyone is doing, so I can't what the majority of students actually needs. Office hours are probably my favorite part, since people come in who are motivated and have concrete questions that I can help with, which is great. But the entitlement of students on Piazza is horrible. I probably shouldn't take it so personally, but it's hard not to. I feel like I'm not good enough at anything.

The 90's are credited for a 'golden era' of hip hop. There is still so much intrinsically spiritual music from this era to discover. The whole world was in the thicket of a deeply introspective hip hop beat, and this culmination and amalgamation of hundreds of emcees deep in thought should rightfully be credited to the huge strides in hip hop's group consciousness at the time. If you listen to enough of the right material from this time, you can very clearly see the overlapping religious themes and feel the essence of what hip hop was at the time. Many of these artists unable to even come close to the styles they were delivering at the time. MCs all over the Americas were pulling fire right out of the ether for at least a solid few years.

one time i told my boyfriend i really needed some tweezers and asked him to stop and grab some from cvs on his way to see me and he was like sure and then he showed up with twizzlers because i think that's what he thought i said but i think the best part about this was that he asked no questions about me supposedly needing twizzlers so bad that he should take a detour to pick them up for me
