The problem with the treadmill is I just don't know what to do in my head. You either stare at the mirror or concentrate on the TV. It makes me ill because I can't relax on a treadmill. |

Through these offices it was my privilege to get to know almost every Jewish person, and those whom I did not come to know through these offices I came to know through love and a desire to know my brethren, the members of my people. |

I really liked the snake that breaks out of the cage in the beginning of the movie. I saw it in real life, and it was really cool. Really big and fat. The owls are cool as well, but you can't really pet them. |

If you take something out of the freezer, it's cold, but what happens when it melts? It's a cool party, a cool person, a cool collection. What does that mean? I'm more interested in things that are uncool, things that have a certain individuality, a certain soul, a certain longevity, emotion, fragility. |

Going from college to being on national TV almost fresh outta school, it happened really fast. |

It's healthy to have older friends. You go, 'Look, I'm younger than them!' That's always the nice thing, if you can be the youngest one in the room at times. Like if you're always the oldest one in the room, you'll start to feel like the oldest person in the world. So get older friends, because they're cool. Get cool older friends. |
Dakota Fanning |
It was really really neat to make the movie because there were mentally challenged actors in the movie. So that was really really cool to work with them and they were always really happy, and they made everybody really happy on the set too. |

My first app was released in July or August of 2008. It was a 'fingermill' - a treadmill for your fingers. My level of programming was quite basic to begin with, so it was more gimmicky to start with. Day one it was up there, I had 79 pounds worth of revenue. |

I was in the Pritikin Center in Santa Monica once, trying to lose 30 or 40 pounds in a month. I'd work... on a treadmill and with the weights, but it was driving me nuts. So I escaped. Tom Arnold picked me up and we went to Le Dome and had tons of desserts. |

I don't believe that songwriting has to be profound, but I truly believe that it's a crime for you to go outta your way for it not to be. |

want: to be able to write
I jam my journal in my bag and stomped out to the diag. Every time I'm in that library, I find myself wrestling with a stupid paragraph and it is always about my literal surroundings. I've written...10 stories about flicking on the desk lamp, peering at the textbooks of the faceless people, and imagining what it's like to be studying their physics textbook...in the library...under the desk lamp. Oh ya, and there's books! But I'm off to the coffee shop I usually avoid because of familiar faces I have no interest in, but maybe I can find something remarkable about today.

nothing. just a lot of the positions are either less than i want to be paid or part time, so flying down for interviews for a part time job and relocating is kinda dumb. and a lot of the full time positions probably arent contacting me cuz i clearly state i am located in michigan. i think ill apply more seriously this summer

The Mere Presence of Your Smartphone Reduces Brain Power, Study Shows (utexas.edu)
An anonymous reader shares a study: Your cognitive capacity is significantly reduced when your smartphone is within reach -- even if it's off. That's the takeaway finding from a new study from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. McCombs Assistant Professor Adrian Ward and co-authors conducted experiments with nearly 800 smartphone users in an attempt to measure, for the first time, how well people can complete tasks when they have their smartphones nearby even when they're not using them. In one experiment, the researchers asked study participants to sit at a computer and tak...

I think it greatly affects how we think. I don't know about the latter part. What about when there is something that you don't know how to describe? You're still thinking about it.

I had a dream that I know was a nightmare but the only part I can remember is not scary. I just know that I had a PS5 in the dream and it was pretty cool.

I don't think everyone in your dreams is yourself. In a solipsistic sense everything all the time is part of you. Everything you see and experience is in your brain. I think you can imagine other people in your dreams and they are expressions of your perceptions and to some degree reflections of yourself, but that degree could be close to 100% or close to 0%.
