Mahatma Gandhi |
You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty. |
Kyle Abraham |
Ralph Lemon is my idol. But music is my biggest passion. Frank Ocean's 'Pyramids' is on repeat. That kind of stuff with Frank Ocean makes me cry. |
Mother Teresa |
We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop. |
Robert Ballard |
Well, when I was a kid, I grew up in San Diego next to the ocean. The ocean was my friend - my best friend. |
Steven Wright |
Sponges grow in the ocean. That just kills me. I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be if that didn't happen. |
Sylvia Earle |
Why is it that scuba divers and surfers are some of the strongest advocates of ocean conservation? Because they've spent time in and around the ocean, and they've personally seen the beauty, the fragility, and even the degradation of our planet's blue heart. |
Sylvia Earle |
Sharks are beautiful animals, and if you're lucky enough to see lots of them, that means that you're in a healthy ocean. You should be afraid if you are in the ocean and don't see sharks. |
Alan Watts |
You and I are all as much continuous with the physical universe as a wave is continuous with the ocean. |
Alexander Pope |
On life's vast ocean diversely we sail. Reasons the card, but passion the gale. |
Alice Morse Earle |
There is something inexpressibly sad in the thought of the children who crossed the ocean with the Pilgrims and the fathers of Jamestown, New Amsterdam, and Boston, and the infancy of those born in the first years of colonial life in this strange new world. |

If a tree falls in the forest, does it also fall in the ocean?

I had a dream that I was on a boat and the boat was attached to a bigger boat and we were headed somewhere. I fell asleep and when I woke up my boat was partially under water and I couldn't see the larger boat so I was pretty sure that I was stranded in the middle of the ocean and pretty sure I was going to drown. I couldn't even get out of my boat without swimming under because the front side was sinking and that's where the door was.

Finally some acknowledgment of the data falsification which has helped to hide the true state of the climate. Many have been convinced that data is being cheated to the upside, however, an objective examination of this notion clearly shows the opposite is true.
Dane Wigington geoengineeringwatch.org
This study was just released. Even though the light is starting to shine on the total falsification of data/temp reporting to the down side, this study still does not indicate the immense gravity ...

'Great Dying': Rapid Warming Caused Largest Extinction Event Ever, Report Says (theguardian.com)
Rapid global warming caused the largest extinction event in the Earth's history, which wiped out the vast majority of marine and terrestrial animals on the planet, scientists have found. The mass extinction, known as the "great dying," occurred around 252m years ago and marked the end of the Permian geologic period. The study of sediments and fossilized creatures show the event was the single greatest calamity ever to befall life on Earth, eclipsing even the extinction of the dinosaurs 65m years ago. Up to 96% of all marine species perished while more than two-thirds of terrestrial species disappeared. The cataclysm was so severe it wiped out most of the planet's trees, insects, plants, liza...

When our ancestors first migrated out of Africa around 60,000 years ago, they were not alone. At least two of our hominid cousins had made the same journey?Neanderthals and Denisovans. Neanderthals, the better known of the two species, left Africa about 300,000 years ago and settled in Europe and parts of western Asia. The Denisovans are a much more recent addition to the human family tree. In 2008, paleoanthropologists digging in a cave in southern Siberia unearthed a 40,000-year-old adult tooth and an exquisitely preserved fossilized pinkie bone that had belonged to a young girl who was between five and seven years old when she died.
