I had some other dream where my ex-girlfriend was hiding in a tree somewhere near where I worked and she worked at the same company but it was a secret. Then there was some other person that I was friends with that did not resemble anyone I had ever met. I think my brain was trying to tell me that it is surprising sometimes how things change and how what you think you know doesn't always matter later on.

Not necessarily. Who is to say they have changed to be something different from what you are thinking about? Why do you think it is necessary to talk to a person for them to exist? Do you not already have an impression of this person from talking to them in the first place? Is anyone really what you think of them?

Trying to remember your dreams, in my experience, is doing these small things like telling yourself to write things down when you wake up or to think about what is possible/not possible while falling asleep. Or to say things out loud when you wake up. I don't remember to do these things until one day I say "if you do this thing it will help you remember." And then I find myself doing it. I think because you're not conscious the only way to influence these things is by priming your brain to do them. It just makes me think about how I could probably improve other areas of my life by just telling myself that if I do X, then Y will change or improve; by priming myself for better habits.

The Forms are expounded upon in Plato's dialogues and general speech, in that every object or quality in reality has a form: dogs, human beings, mountains, colors, courage, love, and goodness. Form answers the question, "What is that?" Plato was going a step further and asking what Form itself is. That is so cool. I don't know the answer to your question. If it exists independently of the person wouldn't it just be like a hologram or something? And if it exists relative to the person then everyone just has to have a device that messes with their perception.
