I had some other dream where my ex-girlfriend was hiding in a tree somewhere near where I worked and she worked at the same company but it was a secret. Then there was some other person that I was friends with that did not resemble anyone I had ever met. I think my brain was trying to tell me that it is surprising sometimes how things change and how what you think you know doesn't always matter later on. |

Dream Journal Entry 2: I worked for a Software/Scotch Making company. I began as Cho from the Mentalist and there was an attack on our software due to an oscillating signal between 1024Hz and 4096Hz. I was able to use my telescoping stick to locate the source of the signal, a cold war era radio with a swirling red swirl located directly behind my overweight partner (who wore a necklace made of a 50's era television). We stopped the signal (which was actually my alarm to wake up) but it began again (cause I clearly hadn't woken up yet). However, this test of my skills under pressure proved to be enough to show my dedication to this company and allow me, now a little girl of age 9 or 10, to become the CEO. I was ushered into an office with photos of our previous CEOs (all Russian and British royalty along with Anna Karenina). So I have to ask companies I worked for in the USA for letters verifying my employment. I emailed several HR departments and was surprised that all responded within ~30 minutes, except for Apple
Every other company had my letter ready and emailed it to me. Apple took almost a week, then they sent me an email that spelled my name wrong and asked for my employee ID and the last 4 digits of my SSN
I have NO IDEA what my employee ID was, so I said that and eventually they sent me back a link to a PDF that I needed. THEN they sent me another email with a survey to ask how they did

The violin symbolizes harmony and peace. Despite all these other things going on around you, you have a zen like state where these awful things aren't a matter to you. People stealing stuff from you symbolizes how you have lost something or are in fear of losing it. However of course the violin shows that this doesn't really matter to you.

Darkest dream I've had in a long time: I was an android hanging out with a group of friends to learn how to talk. They were being crappy and at one point left me behind. Android me realized that no matter how well it functioned it would never fulfill its purpose because they were just not good people. Then it realized it could not hang itself because it doesn't breath, so it hired someone to stab it to death.

I had a dream that I was in my friends new apartment and it was all dark and dank. We went up a couple floors of stairs and into his apartment and then I kept opening doors and going down dark hallways and the apartment just kept going deeper into the building. Eventually, I ended up underground in some secret tunnels and I saw giant robots and I was sneaking around trying to find a way out. I ended up running into some glass room that was really bright and filled with huge machines. A robot ran in and I think was trying to kill me and I woke up. Then I had another dream that I was in some building that kept changing shapes and ran into some person I used to know.

Trying to remember your dreams, in my experience, is doing these small things like telling yourself to write things down when you wake up or to think about what is possible/not possible while falling asleep. Or to say things out loud when you wake up. I don't remember to do these things until one day I say "if you do this thing it will help you remember." And then I find myself doing it. I think because you're not conscious the only way to influence these things is by priming your brain to do them. It just makes me think about how I could probably improve other areas of my life by just telling myself that if I do X, then Y will change or improve; by priming myself for better habits.

As the brain is a composite material, made up of grey matter, white matter and fluids, the researchers use data from medical imaging, such as MRI to decompose the brain into subvolumes, similar to lego blocks. The color of each lego block depends on which material it represents: white, grey or fluid. This colour-coded "digital lego brain" consists of thousands of these interacting and deforming blocks which are used to compute the deformation of the organ under the action of the surgeon.

"Back in 99 just before the Y2K scare, my buddy worked there and would get calls like that all the time. He would pick up the phone when they called and not say anything for a second to see if he could hear any snickering before saying the store greeting. If he could tell it was going to be a prank call he would start the greeting and then congratulate them on being the lucky caller that would receive a free game for calling. All they had to do was come down and pick it up. Sounds stupid but it worked every time. When the kids showed up to get the free game he would have them pose with the game they chose, take their picture with the Polaroid camera, take the game from them and then ask “How does it feel to be pranked? Stop calling the store and get out”."
