If I was designing a web site for elementary school children, I might have a much higher percentage of older computers with outdated browsers since keeping up with browser and hardware technology has not traditionally been a strong point of most elementary schools. |

I came to America, and I made good. It's an old story, but it hasn't been told in a long time. Usually, it's, 'I'm an immigrant, I came here and got persecuted.' My story is I came here, I worked hard, and it worked out all right. So it's still available. |

You could say that Iron Man was a second-tier character, and it turned out very successfully. I simply think it's down to the movie itself, and whether people enjoy the movie, are involved in the movie, and that it entertains them. From that point of view, the movie has to stand alone. |

My parents, grandmother and brother were teachers. My mother taught Latin and French and was the school librarian. My father taught geography and a popular class called Family Living, the precursor to Sociology, which he eventually taught. My grandmother was a beloved one-room school teacher at Knob School, near Sonora in Larue County, Ky. |

A good horror movie should have peaks and valleys, a good horror movie should move you emotionally; a good horror movie should be exciting to watch and energizing in a weird kind of way. |
Michael Caine |
The difference between a movie star and a movie actor is this - a movie star will say, 'How can I change the script to suit me?' and a movie actor will say. 'How can I change me to suit the script?' |

As kids we're not taught how to deal with success; we're taught how to deal with failure. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. If at first you succeed, then what? |

'Detroit 1-8-7' - the numbers are police slang for murder - is filmed in that blue-collar Michigan city, providing a flavor of authenticity. Detroit offers a unique visual landscape that tells the story of the city and what it's been through. |

You can find your way across this country using burger joints the way a navigator uses stars. |

Believe it or not, I've got a really bad metabolism. One burger and I'm done. I'm not a guy that puts away 10 burgers. |

I had a dream that I was looking for a roommate and this girl said she wanted to meet up at Burger King. I haven't been to a Burger King in years. I got there first and ordered some food and then she asked me to order for her. She ordered 35 dollars worth of chicken nuggets and then asked for a dozen bottles of orange flavored Perrier water... which I'm pretty sure Burger King does not have. She never showed up and I don't really remember what happened after that but I think I ate all the nuggs.

i'm interested in slang than when you say it sounds old and silly and highly associated with one decade or phase of culture (e.g., groovy) and slang that I'm pretty sure is just as old but doesn't sound silly with such association (e.g., idk, there's gotta be something slangy that's old, would something like "speak of the devil" or "mother fucker" or "god damn it" count or are those not that old) and those in the middle (e.g., bees knees). What if the old and not silly are actually

Movie idea: find a bunch of random video clips and ask several people to put them in the "correct" order. Then find the order they agree most on and play them in order to make a trippy movie and do some small touches up to make it flow a little better. Then you can remove more frames from each successive scene to make it look like time is moving faster.

Love Letter, was a computer worm that attacked tens of millions of Windows personal computers on and after 5 May 2000[1] local time in the Philippines when it started spreading as an email message with the subject line "ILOVEYOU" and the attachment "LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.txt.vbs".
Its at least the same time frame

Dream time! This time around I was in a simulation and trying to tell everyone else that it was a simulation. Unfortunately, they weren't real and also this made the simulation angry and try to stop me. Later it turned out that the simulation was actually in my mind and then it sort of turned into a lucid simulation where I could do anything. It was sort of like The Matrix. What a movie - wish they had made a sequel.
