If you really want a radio station to play your song, go to that radio station every day with that song in your hand and say, 'Please play it.' |

That was the big thing when I was growing up, singing on the radio. The extent of my dream was to sing on the radio station in Memphis. Even when I got out of the Air Force in 1954, I came right back to Memphis and started knocking on doors at the radio station. |

No, we are not anti-white. But we don't have time for the white man. The white man is on top already, the white man is the boss already... He has first-class citizenship already. So you are wasting your time talking to the white man. We are working on our own people. |

The big difference between the radio show and the TV work is that I don't have to work by committee on the radio show. I'm the DJ; I can play what I want and suffer or get praised by that. With a TV show, it's much more of a collaboration, and the song that I might think is perfect may get shot down and vice versa. |

A city is where you can sign a petition, boo the chief justice, fish off a pier, gaze at a hippopotamus, buy a flower at the corner, or get a good hamburger or a bad girl at 4 A.M. A city is where sirens make white streaks of sound in the sky and foghorns speak in dark grays. San Francisco is such a city. |

Some white people hate black people, and some white people love black people, some black people hate white people, and some black people love white people. So you see it's not an issue of black and white, it's an issue of Lovers and Haters. |

You play a 'lowdown dirty shame slow and lonesome, my mama dead, my papa across the sea I ain't dead but I'm just supposed to be' blues. You can take that same blues, make it uptempo, a shuffle blues, that's what rock n' roll did with it. So blues ain't going nowhere. Ain't goin' nowhere. |

I'm very happy at City, very happy since the day I came. I knew that the project was good, and in my head, there is nothing else but Manchester City, so how long I'm going to be at City is just never a question. |

Getting ready to wrestle is like getting ready for a car crash. Getting ready to work with Brock Lesnar is like knowing you're going to get hit by a bus and the bus is going to back over you. If I'm going to work 'WrestleMania,' 16 weeks out I have to start training like I'm Mayweather getting ready for a fight. |

I love my daddy. My daddy's everything. I hope I can find a man that will treat me as good as my dad. |

he creator of a chatbot which overturned more than 160,000 parking fines and helped vulnerable people apply for emergency housing is now turning the bot to helping refugees claim asylum. The original DoNotPay, created by Stanford student Joshua Browder, describes itself as "the world's first robot lawyer", giving free legal aid to users through a simple-to-use chat interface. The chatbot, using Facebook Messenger, can now help refugees fill in an immigration application in the US and Canada. For those in the UK, it helps them apply for asylum support. The London-born developer worked with lawyers in each country, as well as speaking to asylum seekers whose applications have been successful. Browder says this new functionality for his robot lawyer is "long overdue". He told the Guardian: "I've been trying to launch this for about six months -- I initially wanted to do it in the summer. But I wanted to make sure I got it right because it's such a complicated issue. I kept showing it to ...

As long as free speech and free political association remain legal is all good tho. On the other hand, daddy is apparently determined to contort any news media to his version of fairness and his benefit of the doubt.

I had a dream that I used a payphone in The Empty Bottle bar in Chicago to call into a radio station and request "Breed" by Nirvana. Wtf brain. First dream I've remembered in a long time and it's so detailed and mundane.

It's no secret that Big Sherm smoke mad ganj. Lately been smoking about a half ounce a week. Sometimes when I am on a long run of being high from waking up to going to bed, I get lost in my head (lol wonder why) and I think that this is just how my brain and thoughts works now. But every time I take a break even for just a day or two, my head clears back up and thoughts flow naturally again. The point of me posting this is that weed is awesome. Everything in moderation (something I clearly have trouble with in all aspects of my life) but this really proves to me that ganj is great cuz I can just stop and be normal again. When I'm on a long kick of smoking I analyze how my brain is functioning and while it does have longterm effects, it really is crazy how I can get right back into things with just a few days of detox. I have quit drinking for the most part, next is cigarettes and weed.

I had a dream that I was a zombie and I had a wound on the back of my head and if I was moving a certain way, a flap of skin on the back of my head would fall down (but still attached) and expose my brain. I was in some kind of public building that seemed like an airport in some parts and a library in others. I wandered down a long corridor with nothing but blank white walls into a carpeted bathroom with a lot of windows. I just wanted to see what my head looked like. There were many locked doors and I found a sign that said "the unholy are not welcome". I had a vague sense that people I knew were in the building but I was panicking and tried to leave. Two people started following me and I somehow knew that they were hunting zombies. I knew they must of seen the wound on my head and knew what happened. I had no idea how I had died but I didn't want to die again so I started running.
