Some of the posts on the code golf stack exchange are super interesting. I especially like the assembly ones. Something about using assembly just feels really good to me. It is like, it feels good to directly use the instructions the CPU uses. |

The Oval Office symbolizes... the Constitution, the hopes and dreams, and I'm going to say democracy. And when you have a dress code in the Supreme Court and a dress code on the floor of the Senate, floor of the House, I think it's appropriate to have an expectation that there will be a dress code that respects the office of the President. |

Very few pilots even know how to read Morse code anymore. But if a pilot could read Morse code, he could tell which beacon he was approaching by the code that was flashing from it. |

I found that golf saved me from going to the pub every day, so instead, I play golf with other unemployed actors. I'm a member of the Stage Golfing Society, and I play golf with all sorts of people. |

Obviously, the good thing about golf, it's difficult to really, really blow it after five holes unless it goes really, really, really... really, really, really wrong. But you still have 13 to go, and if you have a good run, where you make five or six birdies, you can get it back somehow. |

Whether it's golf or writing, you have friends, and then you have 'friends' friends. Friends who are like family. I can count my close friends on two hands, which is good, I think. That's a lot. Some are at home in Spain, others are elsewhere, and some are in golf. |

Or heritage and ideals, our code and standards - the things we live by and teach our children - are preserved or diminished by how freely we exchange ideas and feelings. |

The human brain works as a binary computer and can only analyze the exact information-based zeros and ones (or black and white). Our heart is more like a chemical computer that uses fuzzy logic to analyze information that can't be easily defined in zeros and ones. |

The 9-9-9 plan would resuscitate this economy because it replaces the outdated tax code that allows politicians to pick winners and losers, and to provide favors in the form of tax breaks, special exemptions and loopholes. It simplifies the code dramatically: 9% business flat tax, 9% personal flat tax, 9% sales tax. |

Many people think that open source projects are sort of chaotic and and anarchistic. They think that developers randomly throw code at the code base and see what sticks. |

You don't have to play a whole lot of guitar to be a good blues player. Some people plays too much guitar. Stack it on top of each other the way it don't - you're working too fast. Blues not supposed to be played fast. Blues supposed to be played slow. You could kill a man with just one chord. |

I'm stressed out because I have a lot to do but at the same time I am doing a lot of things which feels good. Feels like I'm getting a lot done which makes working a lot not feel bad.

I feel like I used to use music-induced mania to write code. That doesn't sound like a real thing but there were for sure kinds of music that were new to me that helped me code. All my music feels old and predictable now. It does not give the same effect.

There is software developed at Stanford that will identify objects in pictures automatically and I could use it to generate captions and relate pictures to both text posts and image posts. I'm looking into how to get my hands on this code.

Scientists Have 'Hacked Photosynthesis' To Boost Crop Growth By 40 Percent (npr.org)
There's a big molecule, a protein, inside the leaves of most plants. It's called Rubisco, which is short for an actual chemical name that's very long and hard to remember. Rubisco has one job. It picks up carbon dioxide from the air, and it uses the carbon to make sugar molecules. It gets the energy to do this from the sun. This is photosynthesis, the process by which plants use sunlight to make food, a foundation of life on Earth. "But it has what we like to call one fatal flaw," Amanda Cavanagh, a biologist and post-doctoral researcher at the University of Illinois, says. Unfortunately, Rubisco isn't picky enough about what it grabs from the air. It also picks up oxygen. "When it does that, it makes a ...

okay, so the first number is going to be about how Chancy really wants these poptarts but in the song she's revealing that she really wants a relationship with her hot priest roommate. because symbolism. no actually it's because they hooked up a couple times but never really acknowledge that fact, and they carry on as good friends the same as normal, which chancy appreciates, but she also feels like she knows the priest thinks about how they have hooked up and carry-on as normal without acknowledging it, and that feels very...interesting.
She interrupts this verse with like a chorus about wanting the poptarts. and you're (chorus members) just like "why does she want these poptarts so bad and why is this so weirdly important for her," ...
