It was very early, and we were still like beta or alpha stage, and so we started receiving a ton of download. The server became overloaded, and that's when I realized that this had a huge market. |

I believe that, artistically and culturally, the free radio air should be able to support local artists of whatever genre. Play 40 percent of your local artists; don't suck up to major labels to the point where you neglect your own locale. |
Joel Salatin |
From zoning to labor to food safety to insurance, local food systems daily face a phalanx of regulatory hurdles designed and implemented to police industrial food models but which prejudicially wipe out the antidote: appropriate scaled local food systems. |
Bob Inglis |
We added Medicare Part D to a system facing bankruptcy and gave no thought to means testing it. |
Donald Trump |
I think Ronald Reagan was one of the great presidents, period, not just recently. I thought he had the demeanor. I thought he had the bearing. I thought he had the thought process. |

Breast cancer alone kills some 458,000 people each year, according to the World Health Organization, mainly in low- and middle-income countries. It has got to be a priority to ensure that more women can access gene testing and lifesaving preventive treatment, whatever their means and background, wherever they live. |
C. S. Lewis |
Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point. |

In an era of parental paranoia, lawsuit mania and testing frenzy, we are failing to inspire our children's curiosity, creativity, and imagination. We are denying them opportunities to tinker, discover, and explore - in short, to play. |

You find sprinters testing other sprinters' mental capability. But these are my good friends on the track. I don't think we need to do that. |

Testing is overrated. |

It's about a domain I just remembered I've been renewing for 4 years (whoops), and a simple project I abandoned - of a more private nature - that I thought you might be interested in. Could be some easy money (small scale stuff).

oih yes. also, now a days i run my scripts from a server or even my localhost through WGET and remove the output i use for testing. also another reason i use xml and import into wordpress is because they can manage a database of that sizes efficiency way better than i can. i tried to make a million page site a long time ago and it would take for ever to load my data i put in mysql directly off the scraper

A Mysterious Grey-Hat Is Patching People's Outdated MikroTik Routers
A Russian-speaking grey-hat hacker is breaking into people's MikroTik routers and patching devices so they can't be abused by cryptojackers, botnet herders, or other cyber-criminals, ZDNet has learned. The hacker, who goes by the name of Alexey and says he works as a server administrator, claims to have disinfected over 100,000 MikroTik routers already. "I added firewall rules that blocked access to the router from outside the local network," Alexey said. "In the comments, I wrote information about the vulnerability and left the address of the @router_os Telegram channel, where it was possible for them to ask questions." But despite adjusting firewall settings for over 100,000 users, Alexey says that only 50 users reach...

"Should I avoid genetic testing because of these findings?
No, not at all. Genetic sequencing and testing has many important benefits, and the risks we describe in this study are far from practice."

Yesterday, there was a Magic the Gathering tournament at my local hobby shop. My girlfriend decided to tag along and come support me. I ended up doing pretty poorly (1-3), but the hobby shop gave out a consolation prize of a random foiled uncommon card. The card that I received was called "Thought Erasure" and immediately held the card up to my girlfriend and said "AND I CAST THOUGHT ERASURE, BE GONE THOT!" as a joke, but said it pretty loudly. The shop is pretty small and a lot of people caught wind of my act and needless to say my girlfriend was very embarrassed. We're home now and she still hasn't spoken to me. I'm fucked boys.
Tl;DR: Casted Thot Erasure on my girlfriend and now I'm afraid it may have worked.

I had this idea one night for creating a decentralized search engine. It would pull data from other search engines (through proxies or from a single server, so no personal user data is involved) and then re-display it to the user.
The next additional thought I had was to make it into a 'roll your own' search engine, so users could then deploy their search engine on their own server to have further control of the traffic as you obviously cant trust shit like duckduckgo (fishy)
Then you could m...

I'm trying to figure out the best way to change the posting into a real-time chat. So each thought page would then be sort of like a chat room but if you commented on the thought of a thought they would branch off.
