I had some weird dreams last night. In one of them I was on a planet with people from earth and we were in a different part of the universe where you could see all sorts of other galaxies in the sky and there were two that were colliding and they lit up the whole sky with all sorts of yellow and purpley colors. There was this girl that was taking pictures and video of the whole thing trying to document it. She was walking through fields of tall grasses and these plains that were filled with very shallow water that had waves about twice as high as the depth of the water, but still shorter than the average person. The dream kept switching between this girl and a completely different place in time where these unrecognizable creatures were speaking in a language I didn't understand about the collision of the two galaxies. There were one or two other dreams I had in different REM cycles and I don't remember them at the moment. |

I say, 'Yeah, Taylor Swift.' I think she is a smart, beautiful girl. I think she's making all the right moves. She's got a good head on her shoulders. She's surrounded with wonderful people. Her songs are great. She keeps herself anchored. She knows who she is, and she's living and standing by that. |
Carl Sagan |
Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people. |
Jeff Daniels |
Meryl Streep's brilliant, just brilliant. I've been fortunate to do two movies with Meryl. And for an actor to go moment to moment like she does, there's no one better. And she dances between moments. Each take is different because she's riding instincts, she's riding impulses. And she trusts that. |
Casey Affleck |
All cultures are different. Some commit genocide. Some are uniquely peaceful. Some frequent bathhouses in groups. Some don't show each other the soles of their shoes or like pictures taken of them. Some have enormous hunting festivals or annual stretches when nobody speaks. Some don't use electricity. |

I'm so lucky because I get to have all of these memories. I can have all of those pictures and different sorts of films and stuff. Some people have only one photo, and I'm really glad that I have all of that. |

In Sufi terms, there are two very interesting notions of transcendence. One is to gaze out at the universe and to comprehend that what you see out there reflects what you are. The other one is to look inside yourself and recognise that the universe is present there. |

The pictures are created by the listener, with a little help from the broadcaster. The pictures are perfect. If you're showing pictures, different things in that picture can distract from the spoken word. |
Robert Adams |
I thought I was taking pictures of things that I hated. But there was something about these pictures. They were unexpectedly, disconcertingly glorious. |
John Lubbock |
Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books. |
Eddie Van Halen |
I have pictures of me sitting in the racquetball court in my pajamas with an acoustic guitar, and Wolfgang is probably just two-and-a-half-feet tall. I'll never forget the day I saw his foot tapping along in beat! I knew then, I couldn't wait for the day I'd be able to make music with my son. I don't know what more I could ask for. |

The spark was selfies, people taking 2-3 pictures of themselves a day. Especially people traveling. Why on earth would you take a picture of yourself instead of the unique landscape or ephemeral surroundings. It can't even be masked under another classification, its a cry for attention which may be the defining characteristic of a child.

"I've had to live my life pretending that I'm colorblind."
One day in middle school, we were doing something with colors, I cant remember what but it had to do with colors, so I turned to the girl next to me and said as a joke, "Which one of these is blue? I'm colorblind.", while holding up 3 markers that weren't even close to blue. But here's the catch, she actually thought that I was colorblind, so she points out what the blue one was and we go on with our day. Or so I thought. About a week later someone is talking about uno, and I remember this because this was one of the weirdest conversations I've had with someone. So were talking about uno, and the girl goes, "Cal, you must be a shitty uno player because you're colorblind.", so everyone starts asking about it and I have to come up ...

This isn't an easy thing to solver with Google. I have, however, learned all sorts of things about girls and day to day resourcefulness.

I had a dream that I was at some weird party with people from my childhood and time was weird and it was like the state of people's brains (including their maturity) were jumping randomly to different points in their life. Then I left that weird party and was walking home, which apparently was through the woods in the snow and up a huge hill. As I was climbing the hill I noticed someone trapped in the snow. I pulled this girl out but there was some mechanism she stepped on that set off some fireworks. They started shooting up in the sky and barely not blowing off our heads. Then I woke up.

Something that is hard to reconcile is the experience of impersonal and personal love. Nature is very impersonal, and affection is very personal. I think often we confuse affection with love. We create exclusive relationships with others that often get overrided by our natural instincts- maybe a loving relationship is sabotaged bc someone ?fitter? in many ways came along and appealed to you as an animal. And then we say ?I thought we loved each other!? People use affection to justify all sorts of sacrifices and nature to justify all sorts of cruelty. Still, the world goes round and love exists on both a personal and impersonal level. You love your sister and you love the atoms which make up your sister which also make up the table in your kitchen and your worst enemy. And you experience that love by the same source that also allows you to evaluate which people and activities are worth your energy and which you reject. I don?t think reality is a matter of love vs. nature- - I don?t thi...

Lets sum up my last two vivid dreams. Dream 1 we were at a restaurant and I went to the car and was in the back seat and these guys came in the car and were robbing it and I was like heyy Im still here, then they chased me back to the restaurant and I couldn't yell or run barely. Some point after that I went to this really weird town and was like pretending to be this kids dad or something and it was sad and I was on the run. Then the core 4 were all on an island and we were trying to escape and eventually I found a boat, then charlie and ben were there suddenly but we left the girls on the island so I borrowed a boat from the police and then they magically appeared off the island. So that was weird. The other dream from just last night was that I was going to like, vegas but it was really Hawaii and I met some girl from Utah that I seemed to have known, but then partied in Hawaii on this island that actually kind of reminds me of this desert in another dream I had, anyway I also foun...

I forgot that I had some weird dreams the other day. One of them was me in a gas station or something and someone came in to rob the store. Something got out of hand and they ended up shooting and accidentally (I think) hit me. Then I just bled out slowly on the floor and he ran away and people were screaming and stuff... weird

Last night I had a dream that I was taking an exam and Tina Fey was my teacher. It was one of those easy exams where you're supposed to know every answer but I didn't know any of them and was really stressed out about it. Good thing I'm not in school anymore!
