How does one accommodate for the subjective experience of awe? Infinity in a moment, nothing has changed and yet nothing will ever be the same. |

No one ever said 'no' to me about anything. No one ever told me anything was wrong. Never. No one ever said, 'You can't be a fashion designer.' No one ever said, 'You're a boy and you can't take tap-dancing lessons.' No one ever said, 'You're a boy and you can't have long hair.' |

We used to look at each other and say, 'We play the same game with the same rules, the same bat, the same ball, the same field. What the hell does color have to do with it? You don't play with color. You play with talent.' |
Willie Nelson |
What has changed is that nothing has changed... that's what has made me more unhappy than everything else. |

Ever since taking office, the Obama administration has sought to accommodate Islamist demands that freedom of expression be curbed, lest it offend Muslims and stoke violence. For example, in 2009, the administration co-sponsored a United Nations Human Rights Council resolution along those lines. |
Simone de Beauvoir |
I am incapable of conceiving infinity, and yet I do not accept finity. |
Thomas Merton |
Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you discover act without motion, labor that is profound repose, vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity. |
Jack Henry Abbott |
When they talk of ghosts of the dead who wander in the night with things still undone in life, they approximate my subjective experience of this life. |

Does not the very word 'creative' mean to build, to initiate, to give out, to act - rather than to be acted upon, to be subjective? Living photography is positive in its approach, it sings a song of life - not death. |

A lot of artists go in the studio and say, 'OK, whaddaya want me to do? Is it gonna be a hit? I'll do it. Is it gonna get played on the radio? I'll do it.' So they start makin' these songs, and they fall in the same tempo, same category, same this, same that, and it'll just all sound the same. |

Technology has changed the way book publishing works, as it has changed everything else in the world of media. |

how does one accommodate for anything but? as an artist/inspired hacker I pretty much have to live for those moments as thats what im trying to capture. I believe they are the single most important parts of your life and I would be broke and homeless for a year to achieve a really good experience of perfection

The desire for more positive experience is itself a negative experience. And, paradoxically, the acceptance of one’s negative experience is itself a positive experience

Nothing like the moment you realize that the asshole who's tailgating you with his brights on when you're driving home from the bar is a cop. Maybe drunks panic and speed up? The gotcha moment is when s/he passes you way over the speed limit in a no passing zone.

This analysis suggests a reason for sensory enhancement under marijuana, a movement of attention from consciousness processes to awareness processes. We usually think of attention as synonymous with consciousness, but it is an uneasy synonymy. Consciousness seems to be more than attention, but we cannot describe a consciousness without attention. Perhaps it is possible for attention energy to move into sensory processes and operate less in the decisional, deliberative processes of consciousness. If this happens it would provide much more energy for attending to sense data, and we could expect the sensory experience to be more vivid and more detailed.
Intensity of sensory experience seems related to the total proportion or amount of attention which is involved in the process. If attention...

So I hate that moment when your friend is in the middle of pouring out his soul and right at the moment of a reflecting silence a fart slips out of you. Like you have absolutely no control. This fart is too powerful that is surpasses any attempts at clenching. It has left your body before you can take appropriate action to cover it up. Its exposed and the truth comes out.....women do fart.

Not only is this the trippiest dream I've heard in a while, but bonus trippy points when it changed into present tense as shit got real.

Counter-intuitively, Koubeissi’s team found that the woman’s loss of consciousness was associated with increased synchrony of electrical activity, or brainwaves, in the frontal and parietal regions of the brain that participate in conscious awareness. Although different areas of the brain are thought to synchronise activity to bind different aspects of an experience together, too much synchronisation seems to be bad. The brain can’t distinguish one aspect from another, stopping a cohesive experience emerging.

So my life is completely changed after 3 of us had almost the exact same dream on the same night with each other in the dream. We are all connected.
