i've been watching berkeley lectures on cognitive science and they showed that all sleep learning studies have shown that you don't learn but there is evidence to show that it helps your memory.

omg i also watched golden girls when the campfire rains on my thunderstorm plans, was playing animal crossing on a handmedown ds from my rich friend, it had a scratch on it, and my brother took a huge shit and the cabin smelled so bad, and my aunt had like all the golden girls vhs's and we binged watched that shit

i realized i have trouble expressing myself due to my past experiences and the overwhelming nature of them. my dad left my mom 2 years after i was born. my brother has lived in japan for almost 10 years. my mom was wrongfully fired and unemployed for almost 2 years while i was in college, food stamps was a savior to us. I watched the 'plug being pulled' on my grandpa 3 years ago. watched my dog die and literally take his last breath a year later. my grandma died a few months ago.

Consciousness is generally thought of as being comprised of two critical components - arousal and awareness.
Researchers had already shown that arousal is likely regulated by the brainstem - the portion of the brain that links up with the spinal cord - seeing as it regulates when we sleep and wake, and our heart rate and breathing.
Awareness has been more elusive. Researchers have long thought that it resides somewhere in the cortex - the outer layer of the brain - but no one has been able to pinpoint where.

Amazon Opens Up Its Internal Machine Learning Training To Everyone
Amazon announced Monday that it's making the machine learning courses it uses to train its engineers available to everybody for free. The course is tailored to four major groups -- developers, data scientists, data platform engineers and business professionals -- and it offers both foundational level lessons as well as more advanced instruction.
