I pledge you, I pledge myself, to a new deal for the American people. |

I'm sure everyone knows that my heart is and always will be with the players, the fans and the entire Dodger family. I've cared about the Dodgers for nearly my entire life, and nothing can change my allegiance to this franchise. |
Marc Jacobs |
No one ever said 'no' to me about anything. No one ever told me anything was wrong. Never. No one ever said, 'You can't be a fashion designer.' No one ever said, 'You're a boy and you can't take tap-dancing lessons.' No one ever said, 'You're a boy and you can't have long hair.' |
Bob Marley |
Get up, stand up, Stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, Don't give up the fight. |
Bob Marley |
I don't stand for the black man's side, I don' t stand for the white man's side. I stand for God's side. |

As long as I live, I will never forget that day 21 years ago when I raised my hand and took the oath of citizenship. Do you know how proud I was? I was so proud that I walked around with an American flag around my shoulders all day long. |
Johann Georg Hamann |
Every phenomenon of nature was a word, - the sign, symbol and pledge of a new, mysterious, inexpressible but all the more intimate union, participation and community of divine energies and ideas. |
Eric Bana |
Stand-up came out of three things. Frustration, necessity and arrogance. I didn't have a great career ahead of me in anything. Someone literally said to me, 'You should try stand-up,' and took me to a venue. |
Georgia May Jagger |
When you're young, no one cares who your parents are, although Mum would arrive to pick me up in her full hair and make-up and fur, and I used to say, 'Can't you just dress normally, like all the other mums?' I wanted her to blend in more, but I've always been really proud of Mum - as proud as she is of me. |
Charles Babbage |

A dream from 2012:
"I'm in my old neighbor's kitchen and [this guy from work] is there making breakfast. He's putting some water like substance in a plastic case with different compartments. Then he put egg in one compartment and mixed it up. The water like substance and the egg did not mix and then he took the egg out with a fork and looked really proud of himself."

I had a dream that the spiral staircase in the BBB was in the middle of that giant open space instead of the corner and that the University of Michigan would hire well known actors to stand at the bottom of various staircases in the building and make fun of students that walk by.

I had some dream that a guy was standing in the corner of my bedroom with a big knife. I think he was a thief and he was waiting for me to stand up to attack me and kill me. I had another dream where someone was trying to kill me but I can't remember what happened.

I had a dream I was hiking around with these people who I think were sailing around Ann Arbor. There was a coral snake in the grass and I fell over and landed near it. I was trying to stand up and the snake bit my arm and these people were trying to pull it off. It let go for a second and I stood up and it bit my leg and then I woke up.

So is it not with me as with that Muse, Stirred by a painted beauty to his verse, Who heaven itself for ornament doth use And every fair with his fair doth rehearse, Making a couplement of proud compare With sun and moon, with earth and sea's rich gems, With April's first-born flowers, and all things rare, ...
