That was the longest exam... |

In ninth grade, I came up with a new form of rebellion. I hadn't been getting good grades, but I decided to get all A's without taking a book home. I didn't go to math class, because I knew enough and had read ahead, and I placed within the top 10 people in the nation on an aptitude exam. |

All I could do at school was paint and draw and that was the only time I ever passed any exam. It was the only thing I ever got right at school. |

If you're studying for an exam you're not thinking about the results. If you're always worried about the results, you can't study a lot. So to be engaged and detached from the outcome is excellent. Excellence is behavior. I mean, isn't that what martial arts is about? And that's what meditation is about, that's what, in many ways, sports are about. |

I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older; then it dawned on me - they're cramming for their final exam. |

I thought of the idea of Summly in March or April 2011. I was 15 years old and I was revising for some kind of history exam. The problem was I was trying to find information that was useful to me. When you type into Google an esoteric term, you get quite a lot of stuff that's not relevant. |

Four years ago, I promised to end the war in Iraq. We did. I promised to refocus on the terrorists who actually attacked us on 9/11. We have. We've blunted the Taliban's momentum in Afghanistan, and in 2014, our longest war will be over. A new tower rises above the New York skyline, al Qaeda is on the path to defeat, and Osama bin Laden is dead. |

America has the longest prison sentences in the West, yet the only condition long sentences demonstrably cure is heterosexuality. |

I'm desperate to work again. I've often had those periods, but two years was the longest. |

The longest journey is the journey inwards. Of him who has chosen his destiny, Who has started upon his quest for the source of his being. |

'I am' is reportedly the shortest sentence in the English language. Could it be that 'I do' is the longest sentence? |

Getting up early to study for an exam. Hooray?

This is worse than showing up to an exam and realizing you left all of your pencils at home.

Walked into an exam and most of it was the exact practice problems I did. I still read them all three times out of paranoia - What have I become?

I had Billy Mays and Bob Ross confused for the longest time and I thought Bob Ross died from cocaine.

I had a Christmas napmare where a bunch of people I know were at my grandma's and it looked like a storm was coming. I walked inside by myself into the kitchen and then I heard the loudest and longest thunder ever and everything was blindingly bright and I didn't know if I was going to be okay or what happened to anyone else.

Last night I had a dream that I was taking an exam and Tina Fey was my teacher. It was one of those easy exams where you're supposed to know every answer but I didn't know any of them and was really stressed out about it. Good thing I'm not in school anymore!

I just remembered that I also had a dream last night that I had a math test coming up and I had to remember a really complicated formula. I was really nervous I would forget it or mix it up, but then my dad ended up being the math teacher and he told me that, because I'd said I was so worried about forgetting it, he had decided to provide the formula on the exam. But he didn't want me to tell anyone that he was going to provide the formula. And I felt guilty, like I was cheating because everyone else would have to study and memorize it (or at least they would think they had to) and I didn't.

20 Top Lawyers Were Beaten By Legal AI
In a landmark study, 20 top US corporate lawyers with decades of experience in corporate law and contract review were pitted against an AI. Their task was to spot issues in five Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), which are a contractual basis for most business deals. The study, carried out with leading legal academics and experts, saw the LawGeex AI achieve an average 94% accuracy rate, higher than the lawyers who achieved an average rate of 85%. It took the lawyers an average of 92 minutes to complete the NDA issue spotting, compared to 26 seconds for the LawGeex AI. The longest time taken by a lawyer to complete the test was 156 minutes, and the shortest time was 51 minutes.

I had a dream that I went back to high school to take some easy credits that would apply to grad school. Some of my friends I went to high school with also decided to go back for the same reasons, but they weren't in any of my classes. One of the three classes I was taking was Calc 3, but I wasn't doing very well after the first exam (which did happen in real life). Going about the school day did not feel right. Something about the way the building was constructed was wrong.. but I could not figure out why I felt that way. My favorite part of each school day was during lunch in the cafeteria because there was a DJ and great food (also similar to real life). One day around 10AM I was wandering around my parent's backyard when I panicked. I realized that I had not been to school in a while... like in two months and I couldn't remember why I stopped going. I sprinted up to the house and i...
