I had a dream that I was in a tall building that looked like hotel rooms and offices and I was waiting deep in this hotel-room type looking thing (but much bigger) around a bunch of corners for someone to open this door and try to assassinate me. There were a lot of mirrors so even though I was way in the back as far from the door as possible, I could still see the door and I was just waiting for it to open. |

I used to live in a room full of mirrors; all I could see was me. I take my spirit and I crash my mirrors, now the whole world is here for me to see. |

I've never looked at a suburban building as being a minor building and an urban building as being a major building. |

The worst thing any decorator can do is give a client the feeling that he's walking around somebody else's house; the rooms must belong to the owner, not to the decorator; and no rooms can have atmosphere unless they are used and lived in. |

Ten percent of the big fish still remain. There are still some blue whales. There are still some krill in Antarctica. There are a few oysters in Chesapeake Bay. Half the coral reefs are still in pretty good shape, a jeweled belt around the middle of the planet. There's still time, but not a lot, to turn things around. |

My dream became bigger and bigger. And the box got bigger than the message, than the Gospel. |

Through these offices it was my privilege to get to know almost every Jewish person, and those whom I did not come to know through these offices I came to know through love and a desire to know my brethren, the members of my people. |

I have plenty of dream roles because there is so much I want to do, but my dream year would be to be in a single-camera comedy and then, on my hiatus, film a little low-budget indie drama. That would be a dream 12-month period. A dream role depends on having good material and working with people that I can learn from. |

You do run and scream and cry and work yourself up into hysterics, and then you get back to the hotel at the end of the day, and you feel really off and really strange. And that's because rationally, even though you know everything is OK, you have put yourself through this traumatizing experience, and your body is still going. |

I think it is possible to be friends even if you're competing. You know, there's so many guys in rooms that try to psych each other out, and it doesn't work. It only hinders their work. |

So, I'm on 'Sesame Street,' walking around with all these monsters, Elmo and his buddies, a whole bunch of chickens, a whole bunch of penguins and a number four dancing about. It was just pure joy, simple, ridiculous fun, stupid joy. There's no irony. 'Sesame Street' is just a crazy great place to be. |

I had a dream that I was in someone's house but it wasn't their normal house, it was this huge weird house that had all these rooms with open walls into stairwells and she lived there with her mom. For some reason, I was in the house but no one else was and there was a deer with big pointy antlers walking around and it was going to attack me and I ran in a room and closed the door and it was charging at the door and it's antlers were poking through. It was really angry.

I had a dream that I lived in this strange house that could magically move and then the door would open up to a different building in a different place and then to the outside world. It was always attached to another building and never on the ground level. I don't know why but I think I was trying to hide from something.

I had a dream I was at my parents house and it was summer. There were a lot of people I knew hanging out in the backyard. Some were my friends and some were my parents friends. I don't know why I was in the house. I found out we had these blue popsicles and I think I ate a few of them and I took one outside. People were barbecuing. I asked where my friends were and my parents said they were next door. I headed that way and my mom looked up and saw the sun and said "why is the sun on fire? it doesn't look normal". I looked up and I didn't see the sun but I saw what looked like the earth. It looked about 5 times bigger than the sun normally does in the sky and there was fire. I couldn't tell where between myself and what I saw the fire was. My vision was better when I looked at it though. I could see the earth in the sky 1000+ times better than my normal eyesight. I could see the mountains and the clouds and the trees and all of it was on fire.

I had a dream that I showed up to work at Google, but I was a week early and totally unprepared. I was living in an apartment building that also had a bunch of businesses in it, and you would walk down the hall past doors open to people's rooms (it was more like a dorm in that sense) and then past a UPS place. It was very strange, and had a reputation for not being very safe.

Some decisions are consequential and irreversible or nearly irreversible -- one-way doors -- and these decisions must be made methodically, carefully, slowly. ... If you walk through and don't like what you see on the other side, you can't get back to where you were before. We can call these Type 1 decisions. But most decisions aren't like that -- they are changeable, reversible -- they're two-way doors. If you've made a suboptimal Type 2 decision, you don't have to live with the consequences for that long. You can reopen the door and go back through. Type 2 decisions can and should be made quickly by high judgment individuals or small groups.

I had a dream I was in a car crash and I was scrunched down in my seat so I couldn't see out the window. I was afraid that I would land in water so I didn't want to spend the time to sit up in my seat and look out the window because I was afraid that it would take too much time and that if I did land in water that I wouldn't be able to react in time to open the door. It was the middle of winter and like 0 degrees outside so it was additionally scary because of that. I don't remember where I landed exactly cause I woke up.

I had a dream that I lived in some community. It seemed rural and consisted of 3 or 4 huge buildings with lots of little rooms. In this world, it was common knowledge that there were these huge wolves that lived in the forest. People said they were about 7 feet tall and 15 feet long (maybe twice the size of extinct dire wolves). I was outside on the roof of one of the buildings. I don't know what I was doing. I think I was doing chores or something. This building was 4 or 5 stories but not in all areas, so parts of the roof dropped off to two or three stories below. There was probably no one else outside at the time when I noticed a wolf even bigger than people talked about. It had black fur and was maybe 12 feet tall and 20 feet long. I was freaked the fuck out. It saw me and started climbing the building and I jumped off the top part to a few stories down and fell through the roof into the building so I could hide from the wolf. Then I just remember trying to warn people and wonderi...

Roberta sips her coffee as she slumps into the back of her chair and gazes through the window at the umbratic front yard. The sky dims and releases a sigh of a breeze wafting in the opening droplets of the rainfall’s exposition. More drops join in accelerating toward the earth, casting a breeze from their path. The plants shake off their winter shivers and the grass sways to catch a drop on each angle of every blade. It’s a good day to bring the plants outside. Roberta wheels her chair to the kitchen making her way to the makeshift greenhouse; the kitchen sink and a lamp clamped atop the adjacent cupboard casting white on green tangles of vines and leaves between the sink and window sill. She plucks the aloe plant within reach from the edge of the sink, places it on her lap, and wheels t...

I had a dream that I was on a boat and the boat was attached to a bigger boat and we were headed somewhere. I fell asleep and when I woke up my boat was partially under water and I couldn't see the larger boat so I was pretty sure that I was stranded in the middle of the ocean and pretty sure I was going to drown. I couldn't even get out of my boat without swimming under because the front side was sinking and that's where the door was.
