Carl Hagelin |
I had more friends on my hockey team than I did on my soccer team. I might have been better at soccer, to be honest. But I think it was more the friendship, and my family was more of a hockey family than a soccer family, so when I had to make a decision, I tried hockey, and it turned out to be a good decision. |

Since we travel a lot as a team, I spend a lot of time on a plane where I like to play 'Football Manager.' I have been a soccer fan since I was 5 years old, so to be able to manage soccer teams is a lot of fun. |
Eduardo Galeano |
A lot of leftists think it is soccer's fault that people don't think, while most rightists are convinced that soccer is a proof that people think with their feet. |
Eduardo Galeano |
I wanted to be a soccer player, and I became the best of the best, the number one, better than Maradona, better than Pele, and even better than Messi - but only at night, nighttime, during my dreams. When I wake up, I realized that I have wooden legs and that I'm doomed to be a writer. |

Bunting is usually a waste of time. The - generally, yeah, I mean, if you think about it, bunt is the only play in baseball that both sides applaud. The - if the home team bunts, you get a base. The home team applauds because they get an out, and the other team applauds because they get a base. So what does that tell you? |
Mia Hamm |
I am a member of a team, and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion. |
Tyler Hamilton |
If you do have a team where every rider has a huge list of results, that means everybody wants to do the race for themselves. The strongest team in the Tour is not the strongest team on paper. |
Eric Cantona |
I manage a team, for beach soccer. I'm the coach. Player, coach. |
Lorrie Fair |
If my soccer career were over, I would still come here because of the people. And despite the fact I've had to skip some school for National Team purposes, I am looking forward to holding that Carolina degree as soon as I can get my hands on it. |
Mia Hamm |
Soccer isn't very social. Plus, if you don't like someone on the other team, you can do something about it. |

I had a dream that I was in this weird place where gravity didn't work exactly the same and there were huge grassy hills that had sections that hung out over the edges with nothing underneath. I think I was playing soccer or something and the ball was under one of the ledges and I ran after it and kicked it and it hit the underside of the ledge. Someone else was playing with me and they just flew up into the air and flew away and then I was confused about why they left so I grabbed the soccer ball and flew after them but then I think they realized the soccer ball was a bomb and then I was flying after them with the bomb and they were scared. Then I woke up.

I'm not usually one for barefoot soccer, but it was really nice today.

I had a dream I was trying to beat some people up by throwing soccer balls at them.

Samsung Made a Bitcoin Mining Rig Out of 40 Old Galaxy S5s
Samsung is starting a new "Upcycling" initiative that is designed to turn old smartphones and turn them into something brand new. Behold, for example, this bitcoin mining rig, made out of 40 old Galaxy S5 devices, which runs on a new operating system Samsung has developed for its upcycling initiative. Samsung premiered this rig, and a bunch of other cool uses for old phones, at its recent developer's conference in San Francisco. Upcycling involves repurposing old devices instead of breaking them down for parts of reselling them. The people at Samsung's C-Lab -- an engineering team dedicated to creative projects -- showed off old Galaxy phones and assorted tablets stripped of Android software and repurposed into a variety of diff...

what quirks does he have? "idk how to answer this question. i feel like quirks are supposed to be things that are weird. but I feel like weirdness is relative. so I feel like it's kinda meaningless to ask as an independent question. if you are asking me this question, then idk what are my quirks?"

I like the psyche distinction. How do you know you did everything you needed to do? What did you need to do?
I always feel like my life would be completely different if I had made a few different decisions and I don't know if I'd be happier or not in those other scenarios. The stress for me comes from trying to avoid missing the decisions that would lead to better scenarios. Every day the things I do have opportunity costs.

MLK's lesser known landscaping aspirations from his I have a dream speech... "I have a dream today... I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low - the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight."

Awesome -- what does this mean though:
" a pinecone to represent being on the correct path and see them often when im thinking about something of a spiritual nature and often take whether its open or closed or theres a lot or there particularly pretty as various levels of my spirituality at the moment. when i feel shitty i feel i tend to see more fucked up ones. "
When the path is open? or the pinecone? Then what happens? ...
