All earthly delights are sweeter in expectation than in enjoyment; but all spiritual pleasures more in fruition than in expectation. |

Personally, I'm not into reality shows - I can't even name a reality show that I was a really big fan of, altogether as a whole, not just from MTV. Like, if ABC has another reality show, I'm like, 'Oh God, another reality show.' But people love them. 'The Hills', 'Laguna Beach'... those do extremely well. It's just a personal preference. |

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions? |
Carson Daly |
When reality television really hit, I just had a backlash towards reality. It seemed like a cheap way to make a product. And then when music reality and 'Idol hit,' I just didn't watch it, it seemed novelty. And of course the story of 'Idol,' this is one of the greatest stories in television history. |

Everybody gets all worked up about trash talk but it is what it is - it's talk... You ask any player, honestly, if trash talk's gonna affect how hard they play, because if a little trash talk affects how hard they can play, it just lets us know that they were holding back or weren't playing harder or as hard as they could. |

Life is suffering. We have desires and expectations and egos, and we compare the reality we have, which is miraculous and wondrous, with this reality we desire. That somehow distances us from actually taking part fully with the reality we do have, and that creates suffering. For me, the thing that I love is that it's all about the present moment. |

I used to lie between cool, clean sheets at night after I'd had a bath, after I had washed my hair and scrubbed my knuckles and finger-nails and teeth. Then I could lie quite still in the dark with my face to the window with the trees in it, and talk to God. |

I think 'Game Of Thrones' has been genius, and I really don't want it to end. Every episode is huge. It's totally immense, and the actors are all fantastic in it. It has totally drawn me in. |
Herman Cain |
I would have to have people totally committed to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of this United States. And many of the Muslims, they are not totally dedicated to this country. They are not dedicated to our Constitution. Many of them are trying to force Sharia law on the people of this country. |
Robert Anton Wilson |
The totally convinced and the totally stupid have too much in common for the resemblance to be accidental. |

I have been creating a Google Doc for my work for when we have to work with ColdFusion for a few months. Here is the current intro:
A Little About ColdFusion: A quote from the internet. "ColdFusion is alive and well in 2015! I've been a CF developer since 1996. I'm still doing it, and still loving it. Anybody who says it's dead, quite honestly, is ignorant at best."

The Cornell Note-taking System
1. Record: During the lecture, use the note-taking column to record the lecture using telegraphic sentences.
2. Questions: As soon after class as possible, formulate questions based on the notes in the right-hand column. Writing questions helps to clarify meanings, ...

No one shares an imagination, and every second of reality spurs mental pictures. Just because we can't communicate our experience of reality fully to another person doesn't mean that what we are seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, etc. isn't real.

Qualtrics doesn't let you force a response on all questions. Pretty lame, right? What am I supposed to do when I generate a survey for crowd-sourcing but I don't want to manually go through hundreds of questions to add validation?
Well, here is the hacky solution. 1. Set validation on one question. 2. Export the survey. This downloads the survey as a QSF file. 3. Open QSF file in a text editor and find the validation you set for that one question. ...

Believe it or not, I was raised by a herd of zombies. I was born on the Tahitian island of Pangoro where the zombie virus still runs rampant. One day, tot long after I learned to crawl, my parents became infected and they immediately exhibited the telltale signs of zombification. I was spared from their ravenous advances only because I was already covered in the blood of my devoured sister. A zombie won't eat someone that smells dead like them. I crawled away from my home and survived in the zombie infested wilderness by learning from and acting like the zombies around me. I grew up there as the only living member of the tribe of the dead. When I was 17 I was rescued by a Catholic missionary from Ireland. I still couldn't read or talk but I knew that I was finally with my own kind. I'm glad to finally share my story with you all on this wonderful social network and I'd be glad to answer any questions that you may have. The hardest part of adjusting to life away from the zomb...
