Every dollar spent on nuclear is one less dollar spent on clean renewable energy and one more dollar spent on making the world a comparatively dirtier and a more dangerous place, because nuclear power and nuclear weapons go hand in hand. |
Martin Feldstein |
The good news is that a competitive dollar in the global market and a strong dollar at home are compatible in both the long run and during the transition to a more competitive dollar. |
Henry Ford |
The man who will use his skill and constructive imagination to see how much he can give for a dollar, instead of how little he can give for a dollar, is bound to succeed. |
Martin Feldstein |
Even if the dollar does decline during the coming months, the delays in the response of exports and imports to the more competitive dollar will mean that the increase in aggregate demand from this source may not happen for a year or more. |
Martin Feldstein |
If the Federal Reserve pursues a strong dollar at home while the dollar becomes more competitive in global markets, we can achieve both price stability and a more balanced path of economic growth. |
Martin Feldstein |
After all, an overvalued dollar gives us the ability to buy foreign goods at lower prices. And the existing volume of exports brings more yen and euros than they would if the dollar were more competitive. |
Mitch Daniels |
We believe it wrong ever to take a dollar from a free citizen without a very necessary public purpose, because each such taking diminishes the freedom to spend that dollar as its owner would prefer. |
Ron Paul |
Believe me, the next step is a currency crisis because there will be a rejection of the dollar, the rejection of the dollar is a big, big event, and then your personal liberties are going to be severely threatened. |
Adam Davidson |
If the American government can't stand behind the dollar, the world's benchmark currency, then the global financial system will very likely enter a new era in which there is much less trade and much less economic growth. It would be, by most accounts, the largest self-imposed financial disaster in history. |
Adam Davidson |
The cardinal rule of taxation is that whatever you put a levy on, you'll inevitably get less of. Taxing corporate activity means less investing, less hiring, fewer jobs and a smaller economy, which hurts the rich, the poor and the middle class alike. |

I would live off bitcoins as I have a much stronger belief in the "goodness" of btc compared to a very very inflated american dollar. Between providing for yourself and using bitcoins, thats all you need to have the best of both worlds IMO. granted this has all been idealistic but thats what im getting at. I dont want to desire to go see movies or use fb or play video games. I desire to desire for simplicity.

So I just had a dream that my extended family and Charlie were camping at this haunted house. Voldemort lived in it as a spirit and we had to combat it the whole time. On that note here is someone else's dream: it was really weird....... i was laying on my bed and then i hear a car by the window Bellatrix was in it and she said the dark lord wants to see me. I said 'not again' (i don't know why) then as we flew i saw peter petigrew in the car and he was winking at me and i tried to focus outside. So we got into a tall the 'malfoy mansion' it said it on a sign and it was so weird ...

My resignation letter I haven't sent yet: llo Ryan,
I regret to inform you my leaving of the company. I am mentally drained to the point where I no longer feel productive here. I have arrived at the conclusion that I cannot work on computers this much in a routine schedule.
I would love to work something out in the future, I think we have done great work together, however I can no longer continue this job. Sitting for 8 hours, 5 days a week, is something I just cannot do, regardless of location. ...

Spotify Hit With $1.6 Billion Copyright Lawsuit
The Wixen Music Publishing company, which administers song compositions by Tom Petty, Dan Auerbach, Rivers Cuomo, Stevie Nicks, Neil Young, and others, has hit Spotify with a copyright lawsuit seeking $1.6 billion in damages. The publishing company filed the lawsuit on December 29, alleging the streaming giant is using Petty's "Free Fallin" and tens of thousands of other songs without license or compensation. SPIN reports: Back in September, Wixen objected to a $43 million settlement Spotify had arranged over another class action lawsuit brought by David Lowery (of Cracker and Camper van Beethoven) and Melissa Ferrick, stating it was "procedu...

Understanding how buy and sell walls work, and why they indicate the opposite of what you think they do. This is market 101 stuff, but I think a lot of people don't understand this, so I'm going to help explain it.
I'm going to help explain this phenomena, because this is how big players enter or exit a market. This is how they create the liquidity they need, while eliminating the slippage which they don't want. I've had a few people lately that completely didn't understand this, and I figured there could be a lot of new investors (not just crypto, but market investors) that could benefit from a thorough explanation of this maneuver.
