Every dollar spent on nuclear is one less dollar spent on clean renewable energy and one more dollar spent on making the world a comparatively dirtier and a more dangerous place, because nuclear power and nuclear weapons go hand in hand. |
Lorenzo di Bonaventura |
One of the things that's driving films in a particular direction is that the after market value of them is dropping really fast and in many segments of it, not just DVDs. Pay television is dropping. |
Martin Feldstein |
The good news is that a competitive dollar in the global market and a strong dollar at home are compatible in both the long run and during the transition to a more competitive dollar. |
Jerry Garcia |
I read somewhere that 77 per cent of all the mentally ill live in poverty. Actually, I'm more intrigued by the 23 per cent who are apparently doing quite well for themselves. |
Muhammad Ali |
Terrorists are not following Islam. Killing people and blowing up people and dropping bombs in places and all this is not the way to spread the word of Islam. So people realize now that all Muslims are not terrorists. |
Trishelle Cannatella |
Theo does comedy now, and he's traveling around the country doing comedy, and I actually just saw him, he's from Louisiana, and I just saw him when I went home to visit my family in Louisiana. I saw his comedy show and he was brilliant. |

After all, an overvalued dollar gives us the ability to buy foreign goods at lower prices. And the existing volume of exports brings more yen and euros than they would if the dollar were more competitive. |
Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. |
I was only saying to the Queen the other day how I hate name dropping. |
Henry Ford |
The man who will use his skill and constructive imagination to see how much he can give for a dollar, instead of how little he can give for a dollar, is bound to succeed. |
Martin Feldstein |
Even if the dollar does decline during the coming months, the delays in the response of exports and imports to the more competitive dollar will mean that the increase in aggregate demand from this source may not happen for a year or more. |

People write here about microplastics in the sea. I'll write about how I forgot my phone in the lost and found room. It all started a night before when I forgot my laptop charger in the law library. I was working with other students for Complexity homework. I was also stressed because of the AIDA project and this made me forget things and be very tired. I didn't even realize I forgot my charger until the end of the next day when my battery was low. The deadline for AIDA had just been pushed back again so I didn't need my laptop that night. Next morning I went to the law library, at the lost and found room to search for my charger. My excitement when I found it was so great that I didn't realize I left my phone on the desk there. Luckily, immediately after leaving the room I could sense that something was wrong. I felt incomplete without my phone. So, very embarrassed I turned back and faced the person in the room. She was amazed at how I left my phone in there after just recovering an...

This is a review of the new JMT album on Amazon:
I was waiting for the train having a cool blunt session while listening to the new Jedi Mind Tricks album, and just my luck, some torn skinny jean, tight neon polkadot T-shirt, sugar shoes wearing, hot Cheetos hair rocking weirdo is killing my vibe by signing Drake songs out loud. At first I asked him nicely to keep it down cuz I just got off probation and I didn’t want to catch a case, but the clown kept on mumble rapping and signing. Then out of no where, in a high pitch estrogen like feminine voice, he starts talking about how Drake is the best rapper alive and I’m hating on him cuz I’m a hater, Hahahaha!!! I tried to pay him no mind, so i turned up the volume on my headphones, and kept head nodding to the music, but the guy obviously wan...

its really random and i didnt realize the frequency at which it was happening. just had a flash back to this marshy path by a river and a field that i remember in my dreams as a kid. it is very similar to an area near where my mom lived altho it wasnt it exactly. i remember several pretty much pointless dreams that took place in my elementary school at the other end of this path, both in the physical and dream world.

I had a dream that I followed some girl into an apartment and I was talking to her and she was saying some things that sounded like English but didn't make any sense. She was going through the fridge and then walked into a bedroom. I followed her and then I realized that she was a robot version of a girl I use to know. For some reason this then made it obvious to me that the not robot version of her also lived in the apartment. Then the dream got weird. I snuck into the other room when it was dark and the real girl and some dude were there. The girl couldn't see me but I kept moving around and making noise enough that the guy thought someone else was in the room, but the girl didn't notice. It was like I was purposely trying to freak out this guy. Eventually they both realized someone was there and I ran away. They didn't find me.

I think there are probably some brilliant ideas that have existed in the minds of people long ago who didn't realize they were brilliant.
