A Coal Power Plant is Being Reopened For Blockchain Mining
Sure, you could mine bitcoin on that old PC in your garage, or you could use a whole power station to do it. That's the idea behind the Blockchain Application Centre -- an Aussie tech initiative that will see one of the country's now-shuttered coal-fired power plants reopened to provide cheap power for blockchain applications. I had a dream I was at my parents house and it was summer. There were a lot of people I knew hanging out in the backyard. Some were my friends and some were my parents friends. I don't know why I was in the house. I found out we had these blue popsicles and I think I ate a few of them and I took one outside. People were barbecuing. I asked where my friends were and my parents said they were next door. I headed that way and my mom looked up and saw the sun and said "why is the sun on fire? it doesn't look normal". I looked up and I didn't see the sun but I saw what looked like the earth. It looked about 5 times bigger than the sun normally does in the sky and there was fire. I couldn't tell where between myself and what I saw the fire was. My vision was better when I looked at it though. I could see the earth in the sky 1000+ times better than my normal eyesight. I could see the mountains and the clouds and the trees and all of it was on fire.

so me and my coworker had somewhat of a heart to heart. except they still think that they were just 'taking a break' when they were interrupting me and the other programmer who were actually working on something. they proceeded to tell me that they always used to just talk all the time at work and that i never take breaks from work. also they told me that she had discussed a specific interaction of ours with "someone else" (the girl she was iming in the other room for sure) and so her manipulative-ness sprung into action to get one of the other co workers on her side im sure. gotta spread the word that im the bad guy and that she is flawless. ok.. doesnt admit that she fucked me over the other day by lying. and still thinks she has every right to ask me all the time what im doing because she 'wants to learn programming stuff eventually'. UM YA im billing my work to the client im working for. not chit chatting with another department simultaneously billing a different client. I reall...

UPDATE 10 a.m. Thursday: The aftermath of a blustery day continues to echo throughout the region, as thousands remain without power and numerous school and government buildings are closed.
More than 7,000 Lansing Board of Water & Light Customers remained without power as of 8:30 a.m., the utility reported, down from 20,000 customers at the storm’s peak.
More than 12,000 Consumers Energy customers remain without power in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties. Consumers Energy reported about 183,000 statewide customers without power just before 9 a.m., down more than 100,000 since last evening.

Okay so I just had a guy holler at me while I was crossing the street. He said he is a messenger for the lord and god wanted him to talk to me. I was already across the street omw to work but I said "sure Im into this shit" and waited for him to cross because thre were a lot of cars coming. immediately gave him my big sherm business card. he asked me if i had an addiction i wanted to overcome and i was like absolutely im trying to quit drinking and he asked me if he could pray over me and if he could put his hand on my shoulder. then he did a prayer and said holy fire a lot and jesus and it was quite a moment. his name is jeoffrey (not sure of the spelling) but he kidna looked like matisyahu lol
