so me and my coworker had somewhat of a heart to heart. except they still think that they were just 'taking a break' when they were interrupting me and the other programmer who were actually working on something. they proceeded to tell me that they always used to just talk all the time at work and that i never take breaks from work. also they told me that she had discussed a specific interaction of ours with "someone else" (the girl she was iming in the other room for sure) and so her manipulative-ness sprung into action to get one of the other co workers on her side im sure. gotta spread the word that im the bad guy and that she is flawless. ok.. doesnt admit that she fucked me over the other day by lying. and still thinks she has every right to ask me all the time what im doing because she 'wants to learn programming stuff eventually'. UM YA im billing my work to the client im working for. not chit chatting with another department simultaneously billing a different client. I reall...

There is software developed at Stanford that will identify objects in pictures automatically and I could use it to generate captions and relate pictures to both text posts and image posts. I'm looking into how to get my hands on this code.

At the DefCon hacking conference on Friday, Rachel Greenstadt, an associate professor of computer science at Drexel University, and Aylin Caliskan, Greenstadt's former PhD student and now an assistant professor at George Washington University, presented a number of studies they've conducted using machine learning techniques to de-anonymize the authors of code samples. they dont have to know how the code works, but if their the ones picking the language they should understand how it works because theyre imposing it on people who DO understand it. it would be like if i told you to code a youtube video creator and uploader but I found this REALLY AWESOME software that is VERY flexible and its so AWESOME, its called PHP. Now can you please code a program that works with cmd ffmpeg and automagically uploads videos

I'm thinking about how cool it would be to be able to draw graphs and stuff and put them in posts on here but I don't know how to do that effectively. I liked the idea of not hosting the images and just AJAX loading the images on pageload when there are links in the post but this apparently doesn't work because of the same-origin policy which exists to prevent some security issues.
