Unless you're trying to make a movie on the sly, there's no way to get around this. If you want to use public spaces, film on the streets, have the cooperation of the police, you have to have a permit. |
Geoffrey Canada |
It is important to have permanent safe spaces in Harlem. |
Janet Echelman |
The spaces I want to be in are nurturing and soft and saturated with color. Our cities don't have enough of that, and as humans we need it. |
Steve Ballmer |
And then you take a look at Spaces, there is this great innovation that came out of nowhere. We have the number one blogging site in the world because of the innovation that's there. |
Bjarke Ingels |
In the traditional modernist planning that created the suburbs, you put residential buildings in suburban neighborhoods, office spaces into brain parks and retail in shopping malls. But you fail to exploit the possibility of symbiosis or synthesis that way. |
Brian Ferneyhough |
Questioning the nature and implications of liminal instances necessarily involves failure, if only in the specifically technical sense of entering spaces where prevailing criteria of success scarcely apply. |
Khalil Gibran |
But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. |
Mark Haddon |
There's something rather wonderful about the fact that Oxford is a very small city that contains most of the cultural and metropolitan facilities you could want, in terms of bookshops, theatre, cinema, conversation. But it's near enough to London to get here in an hour, and it's near enough to huge open spaces without which I would go insane. |
Theaster Gates |
There were a series of moments when I decided that art was important, and it was an important vehicle for me to express my interest in spaces. |
Tyler Hamilton |
I'd never really experienced the West before moving to Colorado. The East Coast, where I grew up, has a lot of big cities, like Boston and New York, and is more densely populated, and I instantly fell in love with the big open spaces of the West, where you can see not just for a few miles but for a few hundred miles. |

okay so like the epilogue music for fmab composed by akira senju is in fact the best, very best piece that captures the full character of the music throughout the show, and really feels like you're looking back to see how far you've come to overcome a life-or-death problem and saved the world.
it's those crescendos you just can't stop. the recapitulating motif that once accompanied a grieving soul, now with sunrays filling the spaces between the shadows

I don't get it. So you don't believe it? I think it's good that you don't believe this. I don't think you are destroying yourself. I think you're just looking at things a different way.

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;

Engineers Say They've Created Way To Detect Weapons Using Wi-Fi
The researchers, which include engineers from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), and Binghamton University, published a study this month detailing a method in which common wifi can be used to easily and efficiently identify weapons, bombs, and explosive chemicals in public spaces that don't typically have affordable screening options. The researchers' system uses channel state information (CSI) from run-of-the-mill wifi. It can first identify whether there are dangerous objects in baggage without having to physically rifle through it. It then determines what the material is and what the risk level is. The researchers tested the detection system using 15 different obje...
