Last Sunday I drank a coffee at 9pm, and then took a Sudafed at 11. I tried to go to bed around 2-3 after watching boardwalk empire, and obviously could not (Sudafed + coffee = kind of speedy). I should mention for a half hour before I went to sleep, I read all about the real life mobsters form that era, murder inc, etc. (what am I going to find out that I didn't last week from wikipedia?).
Anyway, I finally fell asleep around 5, and had a wonderful stress dream (nightmare some might call it, but I don't frighten easily) where I was shot in the neck, but in order to make sense of it and the angles of blood spurt or something, I had to realize a linear basis for the entire system of 1920s mobsters. I had a dream that I had two dogs and I lived in this apartment with this guy that looks like some guy I haven't seen since elementary school. He knew this kid somehow and the kid was being kidnapped. I tried to stop the kidnapper and I got shot. Also, at some point in the dream I was eating an onion like it was an apple... and also this old guy was there and he looked like my great grandpa.

I had a dream that someone broke into someone else's house and this guy had a gun and he shot the person and it turns out it was a kid and the kid died and his blood spattered everywhere and there was this other kid that lived there and I just remember how that kid looked with the spatter of some other kids blood all over him.

Yesterday, 43-year-old Iowa man Sherman Hopkins Jr. was sentenced to 20 years in prison for attempting to rob a domain name from another man at gunpoint in 2017. As Motherboard reports, "this may be the first time someone has attempted to steal a domain name at gunpoint." From the report:

My last 3 dreams summed up. Shot in the ribs with a 22 by my old friend, didn't hurt. Found a satyr who disguised himself to come into town. Got robbed for my car in the desert with a razor to my throat.

About two dozen heavily armed law enforcement officers stormed a home in Chicago's southern suburbs Wednesday to free four remaining hostages and capture two suspects, ending a standoff that lasted more than 20 hours.
