I'm terrified of bugs and I travel with sprays, lotions, potions; the lot. I have to check the room before I go to sleep and if I come across a bug and fail to remove it I have to sleep in a separate room as I'm paranoid that I'll be taken advantage of as I sleep. |

You spend money on Internet connection for your employees. Why not spend money on the energy that fuels their brains? |

I spend several days at a time without enough sleep. At first, normal activities become annoying. When you are too tired to eat, you really need some sleep. A few days later, things become strange. Loud noises become louder and more startling, familiar sounds become unfamiliar, and life reinvents itself as a surrealist dream. |

Economics is all about consumption. People either spend money now or they use financial instruments - like bonds, stocks and savings accounts - so they can spend more later. |

I don't like to spend a lot of money on haircuts: I'll sometimes grow my hair and get an acting job and get them to cut it for free. I think for a lady, though, it's okay to spend a lot on a haircut. |

Victory is everything. You can spend the money but you can never spend the memories. |
Gaston Bachelard |
The repose of sleep refreshes only the body. It rarely sets the soul at rest. The repose of the night does not belong to us. It is not the possession of our being. Sleep opens within us an inn for phantoms. In the morning we must sweep out the shadows. |

Honestly, I try to forget Fashion Week once it's over. I just want to go home and rest and just forget I even did it. It could drive you crazy! It's just show after show after show, and you're missing your family and they feel really far away. You don't go to sleep. You work for a month. |

Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go. |

They think my life is glamourous. It's not true. I obviously get to come in and do radio interviews. That's the glamour. But other than that, I eat and sleep and that's it. Eat, sleep and do shows. |

The best things about 2018 where the places I got to travel, the friends I got to spend time with, and the new people I got to meet.

Despite common wisdom to the effect that money can?t buy happiness it is certain that many people believe that enough money could make them happier than they are. Many people squander huge amounts of time and energy, thinking about and trying to acquire money because of this belief. Even when they are reasonably well off, people often make increasing acquisition and control of money a higher priority than either self actualization or cultivation of relationships - leading to many of the personal and ...

I'm not sure. I do think its more likely that those born in money have an attitude that they're family is smarter and harder working than the less fortunate. But they certainly didn't make their fortune giving money away. But those who don't have money probably don't share their money either. But I think they would better understand what being in the bottom of the 99% lives like.
It really comes down more to how one was raised. People who are raised well are just good people. You don't see shitty snobby kids from parents that teach lessons and enforce boundaries. ...

Most people who don't want to do the PhD realize that they can leave and make a lot of money early on. The people who really want to do research and stay usually value money less.

The Consequences of the Money Taboo The Money taboo is a serious psychological problem because, though we do not talk freely about money, it is of major concern to almost everybody in America. This taboo keeps people from finding money?s proper place in their lives. It keeps them from balancing their financial needs with other needs; such as love, family, self expression, self esteem, meaningful work and physical or emotional health. If people can recognize and overcome their irrational or ...

Financially well-off and well-educated people will expend their time and energy (which they'll say is very valuable and precious given how financially well-off and well-educated they are) crafting arguments for why we should empathize with the likes of elon musk, rather than literally any group of people who have nothing.
Does this say anything about the limits of human empathy? Well-off and well-educated white people see themselves in the likes of elon musk, the point being that they can empathize with an *individual,* and one who has had significant media coverage and public discourse due to *perceived successes* they wouldn't mind attaining for themselves. The discourse is disproportionate; wealthy capitalists can spend money on ghostwriter projects and media that paint them to be a s...

Another psychological approach to understanding people?s involvement with money was offered in a financial magazine. This article (Sullivan, 1994) presented a classification of money personalities based on a survey of 2,000 people?s ?inner financial life.? It divided people into seven personality classifications as follows: 1) Hunters, who are characterized by an aggressive attitude toward the making spending and investing of money and who tend to have unsettled personal lives and a higher than average ...

Hahahaha suck it up and buy a vibrator. In my experience, people who work at sex shops are really friendly and interested in helping you meet your needs, whatever they may be.

I had a dream I was with my partner and we had to go home but she was too tired so I was carrying here and rollerblading (sounds hard, right?) and it was dark out. A meteorite flew down from the sky and made a large crash just up ahead of us and I thought "we should go check for rare metals because those are worth some money," but then we got up there and all these people were sifting through and it looked like it was just legos. Pretty disappointing.
Seems like I think too much about money. Not sure what the rest is about.
