We know that Europe loves President Obama. He had adoring crowds. The press loves Obama. The question is how will this date end? Okay? The question is, to what end? Why do they love President Obama? They love his personal story, they love his wife. North Korea, China and Russia don't really care about Michelle's arms and, you know, whether they gave an iPod to the Queen, okay? |

I know within my organization, within the grassroots of my organization of the Tea Party movement generally, there's going to be a big drive for impeaching Obama. I don't know if that's the right move... We need to play our cards very carefully and beware of the mouse trap that Obama might be trying to set for us. |
Elliott Abrams |
Now in its third year in office, the Obama Administration has never championed the cause of human rights. Its slow reaction in June 2009 to the stealing of the election in Iran and the birth of the 'Green Movement' there, and its delay in backing the rebellions in Egypt, Libya, and Syria, are evidence of this problem. |
Bob Ehrlich |
A complete investment in the Obama administration required that any real opposition had to be demonized. The investment in Barack Obama had to be protected. |
Dinesh D'Souza |
If Obama came by his liberalism in the faculty lounge, then sure, he can see it hasn't worked, and he can modify it. But if Obama got his formative ideas when he was very young, and if they are the result of his traumatic relationship with his father, then they are built into his psyche. |
Marc Faber |
I think Mr. Obama is a disaster for business and a disaster for the United States. Not that Mr. Romney would be much better, but the Republicans understand the problem of excessive debt better than Mr. Obama, who basically doesn't care about piling up debt. |
Tommy Davidson |
I can personally feel the relief myself in my audiences when I bring up Obama because there was a lot of anti-Obama sentiment out there before the capture of bin Laden. |
Aristotle |
Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy. |

If you have the right voice and the right delivery, you're cocky enough, and you pound down on the punch line, you can say anything and make people laugh maybe three times before they realize you're not telling jokes. |

Ninety-nine percent is in the delivery. If you have the right voice and the right delivery, you're cocky enough, and you pound down on the punch line, you can say anything and make people laugh maybe three times before they realize you're not telling jokes. |

Trying to remember your dreams, in my experience, is doing these small things like telling yourself to write things down when you wake up or to think about what is possible/not possible while falling asleep. Or to say things out loud when you wake up. I don't remember to do these things until one day I say "if you do this thing it will help you remember." And then I find myself doing it. I think because you're not conscious the only way to influence these things is by priming your brain to do them. It just makes me think about how I could probably improve other areas of my life by just telling myself that if I do X, then Y will change or improve; by priming myself for better habits.

Could you be unintentionally giving access to private data via texting when you say "let [the govt] read my texts! I have nothing to hide!". Thats sort of like telling police they can come inside and take a look. Because even tho the text is 'private' and your not telling that to the govt, its technically in the hands of Verizon to do what they will with or whoever tf

If you sit quietly long enough, you'll hear yourself telling you stories about who and what you are, and why you do the things you do. In fact, you'll never be able to stop telling yourself these stories.

Two U.S. officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Associated Press that the video released by the Islamic State, formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, showing militants beheading American journalist James Foley, ?appears to be authentic.?
The U.S. officials added that President Barack Obama had been briefed about the video and an official confirmation from the White House is expected later on Wednesday.
U.S. National Security Council Spokesperson Caitlin Hayden, in a statement released Tuesday, said that intelligence officials were working ?as quickl...

Paul's not interested in helping anyone understand what pu-erh is or what it really means. “I'd be thrilled for someone else to take that up,” he says. The innate vitality of the tea matters to him far more than the fluttering factual details we're trained to focus on as consumers. Drill too far down into that stuff, and soon “you're carrying around so much baggage that you're more focused on what something should be than what it actually is.
“I think people think about this stuff too much,” Paul goes on. “It's like trying to think about sex while you're having sex—can't you just enjoy the sex? If you ever try to describe a high to someone, the words always fall short.”

I had a dream that my friend and I were hanging out with Robin Williams. We both got into these separate cars and were driving up this hill. Robin Williams wanted to drive our car up the hill backward and I was telling him not to. He kept saying he didn't know how to drive this car. We got to the top but then he almost drove it off the edge of the hill. We got out of the car and then he fell anyway and died. Then my friend and I aged like 40 years suddenly and then we walked down the hill. We found these like, drunk 12-year-olds that wanted to fight us. They said "this isn't fair, you're not even drunk" and I said "yep" and then knocked him out and then my friend and I (now like 70 years old) just walked down the street in the middle of the night.

the scene changes to someone who seems to be plotting something, kinda makes you suspicious, and you're like "who's this little trickster, and what's he so excited about?" so you're supposed to start getting that maybe clancy is about to have some bigger problems in her life real soon.
the dramatic irony!!!

Today I learned the term "body double" in ADHD contexts. It's a person who is nearby when you gotta do your work so you're less likely to forget what you're supposed to be doing and wander off to do something else.
Been using this strategy for a long time. Lots of people probs do that!
