People don't realize that they're being played by the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, but more so by the Democratic Party because the Democratic Party does not want another party in there. |
Richard J. Daley |
The Democratic Party is the party that opened its arms. We opened them to every nationality, every creed. We opened them to the immigrants. The Democratic Party is the party of the people. |

I used to do the beat box. A friend of mine, he was the rapper and after, we'd be doing a block party or something or a house party, and he's gettin' all the attention and I'd end up with a handful of spit, you know, from doing the beats. |

Decades ago, women suffered through horrifying back-alley abortions. Or, they used dangerous methods when they had no other recourse. So when the Republican Party launched an all-out assault on women's health, pushing bills to limit access to vital services, we had to ask: Why is the GOP trying to send women back... to the back alley? |
Ed Balls |
In 1925, when Britain went back to the gold standard, that was supported by the Conservative Party, the Labour Party, the Bank of England, the civil service, the CBI, the TUC, the Times, the Economist; that consensus was very strong. |
P. J. O'Rourke |
The Democrats are the party that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then they get elected and prove it. |
Steve Jobs |
That's been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it's worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains. |

I was hiking a five-day loop - alone - in the Rocky Mountains when I rounded the switchback and saw a large body on the trail ahead. It had brown fur with a cinnamon tinge that was draped across dense, humped back muscle. A broad head lifted and I could see the dish-shaped muzzle was catching my scent. I knew bears. This was a grizzly. |
Danny Danon |
I understand the importance of political power, so I will use my strength and influence to convince as many people as I can within the party and outside the party that a Palestinian state is bad news for Israel. |
Dwight D. Eisenhower |
Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. |

Basically the overview of the dream was that we all went to a party that wasn't quite earthly and within this part there were different experiences in different places like different universes through doors. We all were at this party but it was in different places to the 3 of us. Then throughout the other dimensions we stayed together and saw some of the same places. For example in my dream we were in a downtown area like East Lansing mixed with Zanzibar and each bar we went to was a completely different experience and party. One of these other dimensions was on a desert high way where there were bridges over head and it seemed to be going to a strange place. I remember being on the phone while driving talking to my homie like I gotta get back to the place where we all were. In everyones dream there seemed to be a portion where there was a fuck ton of people. I'm leaving out basically all the details of everyones specific dream but it was some crazy shit for sure. To me, it proved ano...

I had a dream that I was at some weird party with people from my childhood and time was weird and it was like the state of people's brains (including their maturity) were jumping randomly to different points in their life. Then I left that weird party and was walking home, which apparently was through the woods in the snow and up a huge hill. As I was climbing the hill I noticed someone trapped in the snow. I pulled this girl out but there was some mechanism she stepped on that set off some fireworks. They started shooting up in the sky and barely not blowing off our heads. Then I woke up.

I had a dream that my friends were at my parent's house for a party I was throwing. I was really busy so I was downstairs working on something on my computer but they were all upstairs in this tiny room that had three beds in it. They were laying there talking. I came up once to see how they were doing and they tried to make me play heads-up-7up, but I told them I didn't like that game and I didn't know how to play and I left. They thought my reaction was funny and went back to what they were doing. Downstairs I was working and drinking a huge strawberry milkshake.
One of my friends was leaving and I heard her go out the front door so I went to follow her to say bye. She went out and I couldn't find shoes so I went out barefoot. She didn't see me at all and got in her car. I was going af...

I had a dream where I biked to a party with a couple friends, but I forgot cash and couldn't get in. The friends couldn't get in, either, because the people hosting the party were racist and they were black. We started to bike home all the way from Detroit (I have no idea where home was, but it was far from Detroit), and I almost ended up in a ditch. While trying not to fall into the ditch, I saw a baby rattlesnake there, which made me panic and nearly knock myself over. (I found out that there are rattlesnakes in California when I biked past two of them over the weekend, which is probably why this dream was rattlesnake themed).

'My Airbnb Guests Threw a New Year's Party For 300 People'
"What's the worst that can happen?" thought Nicko Feinberg last December when he listed his house on Airbnb.
The listing explicitly said no parties. Then a request came through to book the house for one night on New Year's Day. It was from a young man, probably in his early 20s. He had one review but it was terrific.... I picked up my boys and we stayed down the road at my mother's apartment... When I got back [the next day] I saw three or four cars in the driveway. I threw my food down and knew I was screwed. Inside there were abo...
