What are good ways to distribute surveys? I have distributed them on Facebook, and Reddit. Reddit has a /r/SampleSize where people take each others surveys and that went pretty well but I need more. |

i have never used reddit before last year. and there its only to look at technology stuff
i miss their old show. the reddit founder is kevin somebody and they had a web show where they did hacking things like modifying a laptop cd drive to fill it with thermite so you can self destruct your laptop. and creating your own battering ram

How do you objectively measure the value of life though? I wonder if someday in the distant future there will be different objective measures for the value of life, each named after an ethical theory or philosophy, or famous philosopher. Then you'd have to have different tables of statistics about demographics. Makes me wonder how people write life insurance policies. I just read a lot about Satanism and I'm pretty sure this is more disturbing to think about. Turns out the Satanists on Reddit seem to mostly be Individualists with varying but usually very mild levels of angst.

Qualtrics doesn't let you force a response on all questions. Pretty lame, right? What am I supposed to do when I generate a survey for crowd-sourcing but I don't want to manually go through hundreds of questions to add validation?
Well, here is the hacky solution.
1. Set validation on one question.
2. Export the survey. This downloads the survey as a QSF file.
3. Open QSF file in a text editor and find the validation you set for that one question.

Explanation: I'm learning how to administer cognitive tests to kids as part of my training in clinical psychology. I need to find children ages 6 to 16 that would be willing to take practice cognitive tests with me this summer (and parents that are willing), but I don't know any in kids in Michigan. Do any of you have siblings/cousins that are kids or know people who have kids that might be interested? A lot of kids actually find it fun, and I would give them a small prize/thank-you gift. I'm also really, really desperate.
