I'm not a guy who curses very much in my personal life. When I curse it sounds like a kid trying to be cool. But I think there are quite a few people, my father being one of them, who use curse words rather eloquently. |

When time and space and change converge, we find place. We arrive in Place when we resolve things. Place is peace of mind and understanding. Place is knowledge of self. Place is resolution. |

A lot of artists go in the studio and say, 'OK, whaddaya want me to do? Is it gonna be a hit? I'll do it. Is it gonna get played on the radio? I'll do it.' So they start makin' these songs, and they fall in the same tempo, same category, same this, same that, and it'll just all sound the same. |
Monte Irvin |
We used to look at each other and say, 'We play the same game with the same rules, the same bat, the same ball, the same field. What the hell does color have to do with it? You don't play with color. You play with talent.' |
Johnny Isakson |
In the real estate business you learn more about people, and you learn more about community issues, you learn more about life, you learn more about the impact of government, probably than any other profession that I know of. |
William Hague |
When a Cabinet Minister who is sacked for telling lies is re-appointed, in the face of every constitutional convention, only for the same man to be sacked again from the same Cabinet for the same offence by the same Prime Minister no wonder the public are cynical about politics. |
John Hall |
The same music is playing on the radio in San Francisco, New York, Washington DC and Annapolis. Everywhere you go there's the same artists and same songs by them, over and over again. At some stations they play the same songs 50 to 60 times a week. |
James Dashner |
In my early writing, all of my characters were exactly the same person. They all spoke the same, made the same types of jokes, reacted the same, etc. I think they were all just me in disguise. |
Vincent Gallo |
I never apologized for anything in my life. The only thing I'm sorry about is putting a curse on Roger Ebert's colon. If a fat pig like Roger Ebert doesn't like my movie, then I'm sorry for him. |
Suzanne Farrell |
You don't learn from a situation where you do something well. You enjoy it and you give yourself credit, but you don't really learn from that. You learn from trial and error, trial and error, all the time. |

There are a lot of things that would work instead. Depends on what you need. Depends on how you learn. Do you need college to learn? That's a different question than "do you need college". Different Universities have different atmospheres. I knew I could learn anything I wanted reading textbooks and recently published papers, but when you live somewhere where no one cares it's kind of depressing. That was one of the motivating factors for why I chose to go to graduate school.

ThinkLynx, oh how I've missed you!!!! Tell me, ThinkLynx, is this beautiful weather a sign that our planet is doomed? Should we move to the seven Earth-sized planets that were just discovered?

WAIT. I remember my third dream! It was because I woke up and thought about posting the first two on ThinkLynx. I dreamt that a bunch of people started using ThinkLynx again and wanted to delete all the weird stuff they posted in 2014.

So I had this dream where I was a payphone on the corner of Haggadorn and Saginaw. And Robin Williams walks up and puts a dime in me and picks up the reciever but he can only speak French curse words and he can't figure out why the phone won't work.

Thinklynx is finally back! My thoughts have been so disconnected but now I can finally piece them together again. Why aren't there more novelty vehicles on the road? Are we really supposed to believe the difference between an IQ of 100 and 70 is the same as between an IQ of 130 and 100? Should I cancel my plans with a friend who is pretty late by this point or just wait it out? Should legal text even be called English?
I've missed you, Thinklynx.

With binoculars for viewing and a guide to help you figure out what’s what, the next step is to bring the birds into your backyard, where you can get a good look at them. Bird feeders come in all types: we recommend starting with a black-oil sunflower feeder, add a suet feeder in winter and a hummingbird feeder in summer (or all year in parts of the continent). From there you can diversify to millet, thistle seeds, mealworms, and fruit to attract other types of species. Our Attract Birds section is a great place to learn about this.

If I had to choose between my pizza place having enough dough for me to place an order and the superbowl not being canceled, I'd choose the former.

When, in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes, I all alone beweep my outcast state, And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries, And look upon myself, and curse my fate, Wishing me like to one more rich in hope, Featur’d like him, like him with friends possess’d, Desiring this man’s art and that man’s scope, ...
