Laurell K. Hamilton |
One of my rules is never explain. A writer is a lot like a magician, if you explain how the trick works then a lot of the magic turns mundane. |
T. S. Eliot |
It is obvious that we can no more explain a passion to a person who has never experienced it than we can explain light to the blind. |
Asghar Farhadi |
I tend to jot down moments, lines, interactions that don't really make any sense. I try and explain these scattered notes to my close friends, and they become more and more logical. I see screenwriting as a bit like a math equation which I have to solve. |
John Fahey |
But I say these things in an objective dispassionate manner because, you know, and I can't explain why, but being one of the greatest guitarists in the world simply is not very important to me. |
James Inhofe |
I have to say when we talk about the treatment of these prisoners that I would guess that these prisoners wake up every morning thanking Allah that Saddam Hussein is not in charge of these prisons. |
Jerry Falwell |
And, these Islamic fundamentalists, these radical terrorists, these Middle Eastern monsters are committed to destroying the Jewish nation, driving her into the Mediterranean, conquering the world. |
Patrick J. Adams |
It's the big question of every TV show, right, where you have these two people who it's clear the world wants to put them together and everyone wants to see them together, but also when you're telling these stories you can't throw these people together immediately. |
Ayn Rand |
The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see. |
Ayumi Hamasaki |
It's hard to decide how to match words to music. It's not like it's twice the work. It's always difficult for me to explain to the composer what I'm looking for. I'm not a professional; I lack even basic knowledge about writing music. |
Benjamin Disraeli |
Never complain and never explain. |

There are five tiers and each one is a self contained game with its own leader board. They group together monsters that are fair to use against each other based on statistical matchups.

The Verge reports that her main defense is "a PowerPoint presentation that Meng had once given to explain to a bank in Hong Kong that Huawei had not violated any U.S. sanctions." From the report:

TIL The idea that eating carrots helps you see in the dark was a lie invented by the British Airforce in WW2, in order to explain how British air raids were so successful in the dark without tipping the Germans off on the existence of radar.

I had a dream that I was climbing around what seemed like a mix of a climbing gym and a playground structure for kids. It was bigger than some houses. I was following this guy who said he had chosen me to move into the house (play structure?) and I was like "oh... okay". I moved in and suddenly I had a kid or something and I told it to go outside and clean something but it was afraid of the white noise in the wind and the leaves in the trees outside. It was getting dark and I was trying to explain that the trees didn't want to hurt the kid but he didn't get it.

There's a built-in Trump exemption in Twitter's new abuse policy that will allow the president to keep tweeting
Twitter started enforcing new abuse policies Monday by suspending accounts that violate the terms. The policies do not apply to government accounts. That means even though Trump has technically violated Twitter's abuse policies in the past, he is exempt from the new rules.
Even though...

so here is my seo strategy rn. mind you that most SEO strategy is in the form of a link pyramid in the end. (spam links > middle tier links > hq site)
I have my main site EXAMPLEFIRST.com this is a super clean, legitimate, beautiful looking site with original/unique content and i've done no shady backlinking on (i.e. blog commenting, forum links, directory submissions, shit like that) and it is a highly branded domain that does not use the full keyword in the url. This site has great, human-readable content that either I wrote myself or paid a writer to create. HQ everythang on this domain. ...

Understanding how buy and sell walls work, and why they indicate the opposite of what you think they do. This is market 101 stuff, but I think a lot of people don't understand this, so I'm going to help explain it.
I'm going to help explain this phenomena, because this is how big players enter or exit a market. This is how they create the liquidity they need, while eliminating the slippage which they don't want. I've had a few people lately that completely didn't understand this, and I figured there could be a lot of new investors (not just crypto, but market investors) that could benefit from a thorough explanation of this maneuver.

Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart—you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you're a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was ri...

Study Finds Flaw In Emergent Gravity https://phys.org/news/2018-08-flaw-emergent-gravity.html
An anonymous reader quotes a report from Phys.Org: In recent years, some physicists have been investigating the possibility that gravity is not actually a fundamental force, but rather an emergent phenomenon that arises from the collective motion of small bits of information encoded on spacetime surfaces called holographic screens. The theory, called emergent gravity, hinges on the existence of a close connection between gravity and thermodynamics. Emergent gravity has received its share of criticism, however, and a new paper adds to this by showing that the holographic screen surfaces described b...
