So, it's okay if your institution commits misconduct if you cannot prove a causal link between the specific misconduct and monetary harms you may have faced.

Shameful that student debt isn't considered monetary harm in the first place. The poorest individuals end up paying way more for college than the rich who can slap down the cash in one go.
