What? Isn't that the definition of augmented reality? You put on a pair of glasses or something and it displays stuff on the glasses (screen) on top of the world. Like recognizes text in other languages and displays it in English. |

I overanalyze things way too much, to the point where it affects my life. Like, when I'm talking to a boy, I'll overanalyze a text message he sent. And I have to think to myself, 'Just chill out. Some guy sent me a text message. That's all. Don't read something into it that's not there. Just be glad he sent you a text message!' |

I have two pairs of reading glasses. One pair is for reading fiction, the other for non-fiction. I've read the Bible twice wearing each pair, and it's the same. |

The Vedanta recognizes no sin it only recognizes error. And the greatest error, says the Vedanta is to say that you are weak, that you are a sinner, a miserable creature, and that you have no power and you cannot do this and that. |

Personally, I'm not into reality shows - I can't even name a reality show that I was a really big fan of, altogether as a whole, not just from MTV. Like, if ABC has another reality show, I'm like, 'Oh God, another reality show.' But people love them. 'The Hills', 'Laguna Beach'... those do extremely well. It's just a personal preference. |

What is hypertext? It is a method of giving a text more depth, structuring it, and letting the computer help you explore it. Links, like we know today - you see some blue underlined word and you click on it and it takes you somewhere else. That's the simplest definition of hypertext. |

As a rule, wearing a bigger pair of jeans looks better than squishing yourself into a pair of jeans that used to fit before you gave up smoking. |

Science and technology multiply around us. To an increasing extent they dictate the languages in which we speak and think. Either we use those languages, or we remain mute. |

I love dressing up. I like going out and buying some crazy stuff. I like stuff that's new, innovative and weird. I just pick out stuff that is unique and anything that I'm really diggin'. I don't really care if it's kind of out there. That's what I'm about. I like picking stuff that is really different. |

For whatever reason, we relate to anything godlike with an English accent. The English are very proud of that. And with anything Roman or gladiators, they have an English accent. For an audience, it is an easy trick to hook people in. |

English poetry begins whenever we decide to say the modern English language begins, and it extends as far as we decide to say that the English language extends. |

Sunglasses That Block All the Screens Around You
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ivancash/irl-glasses-glasses-that-block-screens
Scott Blew, an entrepreneur and engineer, recalled an article he'd recently read in WIRED about a new kind of film that blocked the light emitted from screens. He wondered if the same technology might work on a pair of glasses, to block the screens that seemed to be everywhere. From a report: He contacted Steelcase, the company that made the Casper screen-bloc...

how hard would it be to make an augmented reality. for reality?
can you just project over the world or do you have to implant something?

Most likely these kinds of experiments are more useful in their assertion that experiential life and even most of science and physics takes place in a collective illusion about the characteristics and function of the universe. Ultimately the only provable observation we can make is that reality displays many layers of information to our awareness and hides others.

No one shares an imagination, and every second of reality spurs mental pictures. Just because we can't communicate our experience of reality fully to another person doesn't mean that what we are seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, etc. isn't real.

I had a series of dreams where I brutally murdered a lot of people. The last one had something to do with me hammering this stake into the ground. This 6'5" balding red-haired dude with glasses was not happy about that for some reason and was chasing me with this boomerang axe thing. He tried to throw it at me and I jumped out of the way. For some reason I had one too and I threw mine at him and it hit him right above the eyes. He fell over and was laying on the ground with his eyes open staring upward. I thought he was dead. I walked over and he wasn't, so I sliced his head open with the axe thing and then I woke up.

I feel like it's possible someone could grow up in this world at a time when competitive math competitions are more popular than major sports games are now. And they'd have announcers and live audiences going crazy and stuff and they'd be like "ohhh looks like he did the carry wrong! But he's got one more chance!"... not a prediction or anything just like doesn't seem that far off from reality.
