The rate at which my lighters disappear is infuriating. |

A. A. Milne |
The third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. The second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. The first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking. |
Eugene Fama |
Economies typically do not function well in hyperinflation. The real value of government debt might disappear, but the economy is likely to disappear with it. |
Janina Gavankar |
It's ridiculous that people aren't allowed to love who they love, have families, and have the same life as straight people. It's infuriating. |
Charlie Sheen |
The only thing I'm addicted to is winning. This bootleg cult, arrogantly referred to as Alcoholics Anonymous, reports a 5 percent success rate. My success rate is 100 percent. |
Judy Garland |
Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else. |
Jon Hamm |
I remember opening my dad's closet and there were, like, 40 suits, every color of the rainbow, plaid and winter and summer. He had two jewelry boxes full of watches and lighters and cuff links. And just... he was that guy. He was probably unfulfilled in his life in many ways. |
Oscar Isaac |
I was in bands, but they were punk bands, and you plug in the guitars, you turn them up really loud, you've got four or five other people on stage with you, you've got some protection from when they throw lighters. You can always hide behind the lead singer or the bass player. |
Douglas Adams |
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened. |
Eleanor Roosevelt |
Probably the happiest period in life most frequently is in middle age, when the eager passions of youth are cooled, and the infirmities of age not yet begun; as we see that the shadows, which are at morning and evening so large, almost entirely disappear at midday. |
James Balog |
There is a glacier in Iceland, Solheimar, which has retreated a great deal, and every time I go back there and see what's not there any more, it does something to the heart. It makes you realise it's possible for a gigantic natural element to just disappear. |

"in everyday reality; one stands face-to-face with the outer world; it has become an object. In the LSD state the boundaries between the experiencing self and the outer world more or less disappear" - Albert Hofmann

I used to have dreams but THC now swims through my veins. The same game everyday with no shame. It's my way of stayin insane. But you don't get no beauty sleep while shootin reefer straight to the face. You don't dream and your DMT it just don't release. But instead of ceasin this disease I'm just increasin it. Using weed to ease and disappear my feelings.

20 Top Lawyers Were Beaten By Legal AI
In a landmark study, 20 top US corporate lawyers with decades of experience in corporate law and contract review were pitted against an AI. Their task was to spot issues in five Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), which are a contractual basis for most business deals. The study, carried out with leading legal academics and experts, saw the LawGeex AI achieve an average 94% accuracy rate, higher than the lawyers who achieved an average rate of 85%. It took the lawyers an average of 92 minutes to complete the NDA issue spotting, compared to 26 seconds for the LawGeex AI. The longest time taken by a lawyer to complete the test was 156 minutes, and the shortest time was 51 minutes.

I had a dream where I was leading a group of people that I think I had known a long time ago to an apartment where some relative of mine lived. I think they wanted to kill my relative for some reason and they didn't know I was related to this person so I was pretending to be on the group's side. I knew that if I stopped leading this group to my relatives apartment they'd attack me too. So I led them almost to the apartment but then I had a chance to disappear when they weren't looking so I ran into some random building and I found a way to climb up the wall. I was trying to get into a corner and hide and wait until they all disappeared. Some military-looking vehicle passed by and people shined lights in the windows but no one could see me because I was high enough up.

America has a higher rate of incarcerated inmates per capita than any other country on the planet. We put more people in cages than even the countries where they can arrest you for speaking wrong, or praying wrong, or for no reason at all. Land of the free?

I did that for a month for about 2-3gs 6 years ago when the exchange rate sucked. If you go to those hostel websites and then just call the hostel it ends up being cheaper because those sites add in their fee. Also I met people that did couch surfing and had a great time. Also if turns out no other travelers are excited to meet an American. And everyone speaks English even if they pretend not to.
