I've been acting since second grade, telling stories, making my parents laugh here and there, so I'm hoping my 'thing' is acting. But I also make a really good bread pudding. |
Guy Davenport |
The difference between the Parthenon and the World Trade Center, between a French wine glass and a German beer mug, between Bach and John Philip Sousa, between Sophocles and Shakespeare, between a bicycle and a horse, though explicable by historical moment, necessity, and destiny, is before all a difference of imagination. |
T. D. Jakes |
I like to see myself as a bridge builder, that is me building bridges between people, between races, between cultures, between politics, trying to find common ground. |
Niger Innis |
I do not believe that Darren Wilson should've been charged, but Brown should not have lost his life. Brown and Trayvon Martin should've gotten their butts kicked badly. They should've been handled physically, but they should not have been killed. |
Gary Ackerman |
You can compromise between good, better, and best, and you can compromise between bad and worse and terrible. But you can't compromise between good and evil. And now people look at the other side as a completely different kind of animal and say, 'They are taking the country down the road to purgatory.' It's complete intolerance. |
Charlie Sheen |
I don't have time for their judgement and their stupidity and you know they lay down with their ugly wives in front of their ugly children and look at their loser lives and then they look at me and they say, 'I can't process it' well, no, you never will stop trying, just sit back and enjoy the show. You know? |
Ram Dass |
As we grow in our consciousness, there will be more compassion and more love, and then the barriers between people, between religions, between nations will begin to fall. Yes, we have to beat down the separateness. |
Chuck Palahniuk |
People don't want their lives fixed. Nobody wants their problems solved. Their dramas. Their distractions. Their stories resolved. Their messed cleaned up. Because what would they have left? Just the big scary unknown. |
Edward T. Hall |
We should never denigrate any other culture but rather help people to understand the relationship between their own culture and the dominant culture. When you understand another culture or language, it does not mean that you have to lose your own culture. |
Jacob Hacker |
Americans believe that people should work hard and get ahead on their own, but when disaster strikes and they need help with retirement or disability, Americans as a whole should come to their aid. |

I had a dream that there was a dollhouse or something and that people in the real world could be put in the dollhouse and they'd be like copies of the people. Inside the dollhouse, there were these giant slug things that would latch on to people and suck the life out of them. The people were trying to escape. They thought that they were the real people and didn't know that they were copies.

honestly one of my biggest takeaways from the past year is saying no to people and not letting people take advantage of my generosity. youre absolutely right, not everyone EARNS respect.
also, a lot of people say one thing and mean another. (if you know what i mea ;)) ) ((nah idk what i mean)

I think this probably works well for people who don't have ADHD as well. I've heard of people putting on videos of the inside of an office building and just seeing and hearing people in cubicles puts them in that mindset I guess.

I had a dream that Ben and I were at a restaurant and the place was getting robbed. People started shooting and we ran out of the restaurant and into a forest. Some people were chasing us (not the same people?) and we ran through the forest and out into a field that had long fences of different heights. We climbed the fences and tried to kick the people off as they followed behind us.

I don't know. It's hard to say. The architecture in my dreams is so interesting. I always imagine buildings that I think look really cool but when I wake up I know that they're completely impractical/impossible. Maybe the way that I interpreted it when I woke up made it look like it wasn't complete.
For the wolf thing, there was definitely a disinterest in the people in that park. Not being interested in what people were doing and wanting to wander off into nature.
None of the events in the dream reminded me of real people except when I was avoiding people it reminded me of my family. Maybe I w...

Interaction becomes so competitive. People mock each other like that is humor when it's really a way to lessen the intensity of the effect a person has on you. When someone reaches out, anything less than an equal return is a blow to your ego's importance. The more people recognize you, the less you need to try and win alliances so you can reject people who make you feel less sexy.

I had a dream that I was in an insane asylum and they were testing drugs on people and they gave me one that they wanted to use to control people's bodies. It didn't work and it made people seize when they tried it. It killed a lot of people. They would try to activate the chemical at certain times and I think that corresponded to my real life stomach pain.

if i were to pass, i want people to remember how hard and tenaciously ive attempted to follow my dreams. because that alone can change their lives. so to be a constant reminder to people that you gotta keep working, doing what you love, and building possibilities it is satisfying knowing how your actually altering the direction people are taking their lives. (to something better and more true, hopefully)
