I had a dream I had to pick a bunch of sequins off the floor. Most of them were purple, but there were other colors, too. It was for a guy in a very poor country. All these sequins were falling somewhere, but they were his money and I had to collect them for him. I couldn't do it fast enough and someone else was snatching up some of them and stealing them for himself. |

I went through this phase where I thought pink and purple matched. To dance class, I'd wear purple tights and pink leg warmers and paint my shoes purple. It was really odd. |

I still think of that guy I was without a wife or kids, and I still want to entertain that guy. The lonely guy, the frustrated guy, the guy with no money - this is the guy who needs to laugh. |

Well, stealing bases adds some runs but very few, and you lose most of the runs that you gain by having runners caught stealing. |
Matthew Henry |
Eve was not taken out of Adam's head to top him, neither out of his feet to be trampled on by him, but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected by him, and near his heart to be loved by him. |

One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few. |

These are very subtle things, of course, and I don't expect everyone to pick them up consciously, but I think that there is something there that you must be able to feel, there is an energy at work that I must trust my audience will be able to pick up at some level. |

So, I'm on 'Sesame Street,' walking around with all these monsters, Elmo and his buddies, a whole bunch of chickens, a whole bunch of penguins and a number four dancing about. It was just pure joy, simple, ridiculous fun, stupid joy. There's no irony. 'Sesame Street' is just a crazy great place to be. |
Jean-Paul Sartre |
There are two types of poor people, those who are poor together and those who are poor alone. The first are the true poor, the others are rich people out of luck. |

I don't use a debit card. The safest thing is a credit card because you're using the bank's money. If someone accesses your information, they are stealing the bank's money, not yours. |
Laurie Garrett |
Most Americans think that public health is services for poor people, and since most Americans hate poor people and want all poor people's services destroyed, they hate public health. |

the world is spiraling quickly to an even wider and more apparent gap in wealth .those who get the money now are going to set themselves and their families up for a better life in the next 100 years. those who stay poor, like me and almost everyone i know, will find it difficult to switch classes in the future. pick your side.

I had a dream that I was in a shoe store and there was a wall of shoeboxes and some were sticking out and I had to climb from this platform really high off the ground over to the check-out area near the floor without falling off the wall.

I had a dream that I was at some sort of wedding in a country I didn't recognize. They had all these strange traditions that I was trying to figure out and participate in but I had no idea what I was doing. Everyone was wearing a blue, red, or tan colored robe. I was wearing a tan one and people were in groups. I was supposed to be in a group but I couldn't figure out which one. I had some realization that my group must have left already. I didn't know where they were going but I ran out of this room and there was a big glass elevator. There was a guy frantically pointing at the patterns on the tile floor and rambling about the elevator. Three people stood in front of the elevator, me and two women. One women saw this guy and stepped back and the other woman and I got on the elevator. It went down nearly to the bottom and then started moving up again and suddenly fell off the cables and crashed two or three stories below. I crawled out of what was left of the elevator covered in blood...

I had a dream that I was on this boat and for some reason, I was trying to get to this other boat with a bunch of people and we all had these little rafts. It started storming and the wind picked me and this other guy up and pushed us toward this shore. We couldn't go back out on the water and the storm kept throwing waves and other things ashore. I lost track of the other guy but I started climbing this tree. There are a bunch of them clustered together with branches wrapped around each other. I got creeped out because some of the branches looked like human hands and I thought people died in the trees. I kept climbing and eventually I got to a forest above the ground. I walked around for a bit and then looked at my surroundings. I couldn't see the water or anything below anymore. It just looked like a normal forest and I wondered if the other place was hell or something and then I woke up.

"I've had to live my life pretending that I'm colorblind."
One day in middle school, we were doing something with colors, I cant remember what but it had to do with colors, so I turned to the girl next to me and said as a joke, "Which one of these is blue? I'm colorblind.", while holding up 3 markers that weren't even close to blue. But here's the catch, she actually thought that I was colorblind, so she points out what the blue one was and we go on with our day. Or so I thought. About a week later someone is talking about uno, and I remember this because this was one of the weirdest conversations I've had with someone. So were talking about uno, and the girl goes, "Cal, you must be a shitty uno player because you're colorblind.", so everyone starts asking about it and I have to come up ...

Having a bunch of money helps one live in cities and culture but thats what im calling out. I want to save enough money to get the supplies I need to live off of the grid or however you want to phrase it. But I don't believe I need to use that money to get there, it just would allow me to get certain materials / tools faster.

I had a dream that this dragonfly was flying around my house. It was about the size of my hand and it looked like it was made of tiny little balloons of all different colors, but the main color was green. I picked it up and it wasn't moving very much and I realized that it had another mosquito-like fly attached to it that I think was killing it. I removed the mosquito and the dragonfly balloons inflated to about twice the size and it started flying around the room really fast.

I had two dreams. The first one I was running up a hill in my hometown that really exists but in the dream it seemed to be made out of a huge tree trunk and as I was running it started to fall apart and open up into empty sky. I fell a little but grabbed onto a part of the trunk and struggled for a while to try to move to the next piece of trunk without it breaking off and falling into the infinite sky.
In the other dream I was also falling out of something. I cannot remember what it was anymore but it had nothing to do with a tree.

I had a dream where I was trapped in a house with a bunch of people and there were things that would kill you but every couple minutes you could say something out loud that was like a rule about what couldn't kill you. There were certain restrictions on the rules you could make but if you said "I can't die from a knife wound" then if you got stabbed you would come back to life. It was like a terrifying game of trying to predict what would kill you and making valid rules.
