I had a dream where I spent a lot of time in airports. I was going to Japan again for a conference I think. I had a sister and my mom was not my mom. They both said they were going to Japan too and that they booked flights so they could meet me there. I told them that I had to go to California first. They hadn't realized that this meant I wasn't going to be in Japan at the same time as them and I didn't know why they hadn't put in the effort to ask me before buying the tickets. Then in one of the airports I saw an ex-girlfriend and I asked her what she was doing and she said "I want to be the queen of England". Then I said "uhh okay" and walked away. |

The interparliamentary conference should, in my opinion, direct its particular attention to the preparation of the next Hague Conference, the diplomatic conference, the conference of governments. |

When I was seven, I asked my mom if I could be on TV, and she said if I really wanted to, I could. I got an agent and booked my first audition. |

When I was a young guy, when I first started with G.E., Jack Welch sent us all to Japan because in those days Japan was gonna crush us. And we learned a lot about Japan when we were there. But over the subsequent 30 years, the Japanese companies all fell behind. And the reason why they fell behind is because they didn't globalize. |

I was into the Mets because my Dad worked at IBM where he got free Mets tickets, so I was into the Mets... then I got to 'Saturday Night Live' where my boss has unbelievable N.Y. Yankees tickets, so he invites us to the games. I'm going to all the games, so I might as well root for the team I'm gonna go sit with. |

No one ever said 'no' to me about anything. No one ever told me anything was wrong. Never. No one ever said, 'You can't be a fashion designer.' No one ever said, 'You're a boy and you can't take tap-dancing lessons.' No one ever said, 'You're a boy and you can't have long hair.' |

Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that. |

I did stand-up comedy for 18 years. Ten of those years were spent learning, four years were spent refining, and four years were spent in wild success. I was seeking comic originality, and fame fell on me as a byproduct. The course was more plodding than heroic. |

Apology After Japanese Train Departs 20 Seconds Early
A rail company in Japan has apologised after one of its trains departed 20 seconds early. Management on the Tsukuba Express line between Tokyo and the city of Tsukuba say they "sincerely apologise for the inconvenience" caused. In a statement, the company said the train had been scheduled to leave at 9:44:40 local time but left at 9:44:20. Many social media users reacted to the company's apology with surprise. "Tokyo train company's apology for 20-second-early departure is one of the best things about Japan," a user wrote. The mistake happened because staff had not checked the timetable, the company statement said.

I had a weird dream where I was in a liquor store or something and it had all these pool tables. I was buying candy and alcoholic beef jerky (no idea how that works). My parents showed up and told me to meet them somewhere and then left. My friend also showed up and told me I was taking too long and that we should leave. I said okay but then realized I had lost my shoe. I was looking for my shoe for a while and then went to check out and I had so much stuff I was going to buy and I kept pulling it out of my pockets.

i realized i have trouble expressing myself due to my past experiences and the overwhelming nature of them. my dad left my mom 2 years after i was born. my brother has lived in japan for almost 10 years. my mom was wrongfully fired and unemployed for almost 2 years while i was in college, food stamps was a savior to us. I watched the 'plug being pulled' on my grandpa 3 years ago. watched my dog die and literally take his last breath a year later. my grandma died a few months ago.

Millions of Smartphones in 11 Countries Were Taken Offline Yesterday by an Expired Certificate
Ericsson has confirmed that a fault with its software was the source of yesterday's massive network outage, which took millions of smartphones offline across the UK and Japan and created issues in almost a dozen countries. From a report: In a statement, Ericsson said that the root cause was an expired certificate, and that "the faulty software that has caused these issues is being decommissioned." The statement notes that network services were restored to most customers on Thursday, while UK operator O2 said that its 4G network was back up as of early Friday morning. ...

A couple of years ago, one night, I was about to propose to my girlfriend when my roommate Joseph barged into the room out of nowhere, tripped and fell over, breaking a glass table with his face. Totally ruined the mood. Now, I didn't know Joseph THAT well, don't even remember where he was from, but let' just say I put my plans on hold to help him through his injuries.
Joseph had gotten big glass shard in his eye, making him completely blind in that eye. He was walking around with one of those cotton pads on his eye for a couple of months. Then suddenly, he disappeared, along with my girlfriend

In a file of dreams from before 2012:
"i had a dream i was laying in my bed and a ghost tried to choke me. i didn't try to stop it i just tried to ask it it's name. it didn't answer me but it stopped. i got up and walked to the kitchen and i could see the ghost of a girl. i started apologizing to her because somehow i knew that she was strangled to death. she realized it wasn't my fault and she left."

I had a dream that I was at my parent's house in their office and a balding man in a suit walked up to me with a gun and asked me for directions to a mirror. I told him how to get to the mirror down the hall and he said he didn't get it so I started drawing him a map. My siblings showed up and started drawing maps too and then one of them hit the guy suddenly and we all shoved him into a waffle maker. He turned into a tasty looking waffle which was kind of disturbing. Then I woke up briefly and fell asleep and had another dream. This one was about cannibalism. There were several picnic tables stacked on top of each other but each one had piles of books on top. I climbed up this stack of tables to find a book at the top and then I jumped off and landed in a grassy field. My mom and my sister (I don't have a sister) were there and my mom was trying to keep my sister from trying to eat other humans. She was carrying around a big pepper shaker and trying to pepper people before she attemp...

I had a dream that I followed some girl into an apartment and I was talking to her and she was saying some things that sounded like English but didn't make any sense. She was going through the fridge and then walked into a bedroom. I followed her and then I realized that she was a robot version of a girl I use to know. For some reason this then made it obvious to me that the not robot version of her also lived in the apartment. Then the dream got weird. I snuck into the other room when it was dark and the real girl and some dude were there. The girl couldn't see me but I kept moving around and making noise enough that the guy thought someone else was in the room, but the girl didn't notice. It was like I was purposely trying to freak out this guy. Eventually they both realized someone was there and I ran away. They didn't find me.
