I have more friends in ThinkLynx than in actual life. Most of them are me too. |

Whether it's golf or writing, you have friends, and then you have 'friends' friends. Friends who are like family. I can count my close friends on two hands, which is good, I think. That's a lot. Some are at home in Spain, others are elsewhere, and some are in golf. |

In this time of the Internet and nonfiction, to be on an actual bookshelf in an actual bookstore is exciting in itself. |

The most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life is that life is about family and friends, not about material things or any of that. It's about enjoying your life. If you have no family, no friends to enjoy it with, it don't matter how much you have, how much success you have, how much fame you have, how much money you have, it doesn't matter. |
George Matthew Adams |
What you think means more than anything else in your life. More than what you earn, more than where you live, more than your social position, and more than what anyone else may think about you. |
Paul Feig |
It's healthy to have older friends. You go, 'Look, I'm younger than them!' That's always the nice thing, if you can be the youngest one in the room at times. Like if you're always the oldest one in the room, you'll start to feel like the oldest person in the world. So get older friends, because they're cool. Get cool older friends. |

I have some friends, some honest friends, and honest friends are few; My pipe of briar, my open fire, A book that's not too new. |

I have a lot of good people in my actual life, but I will say that it's a strange time that we live in - it's easy to make friends and to make connections through social media, and if you're a good-hearted person, sometimes you can just assume people are who they say they are, and that isn't always the case, which is why 'Catfish' is successful. |

The cherry blossom tree is truly a sight to behold, especially when it is in full riotous bloom. There are several varieties of the cherry blossom tree, and while most of them produce flowering branches full of small pinkish-hued flowers, some of them produce actual cherries. |
Sebastian Faulks |
Life can be lived at a remove. You trade in futures, and then you trade in derivatives of futures. Banks make more money trading derivatives than they do trading actual commodities. |
Will Rogers |
The more that learn to read the less learn how to make a living. That's one thing about a little education. It spoils you for actual work. The more you know the more you think somebody owes you a living. |

while i was working for bam margera for $50, watching this dude in shitty clothes with his punk friends on stage not giving a fuck about the actual show made me realize that man, this guy has $45 million dollars. he is not like us. he was not like anyone else in the building. he was my enemy.

ThinkLynx, oh how I've missed you!!!! Tell me, ThinkLynx, is this beautiful weather a sign that our planet is doomed? Should we move to the seven Earth-sized planets that were just discovered?

WAIT. I remember my third dream! It was because I woke up and thought about posting the first two on ThinkLynx. I dreamt that a bunch of people started using ThinkLynx again and wanted to delete all the weird stuff they posted in 2014.

but I mean how hard would it be to augment a societys reality.
like what would you have to do create a fake building in everyones reality? or have a whole fake world for people to live in?
i cant find the study, but they made sensors to put on your arms in conjunction with a VR headset and it would make items in the game physical boundaries in real life, by shocking you at different levels to simulate an actual physical barrier.

Thinklynx is finally back! My thoughts have been so disconnected but now I can finally piece them together again. Why aren't there more novelty vehicles on the road? Are we really supposed to believe the difference between an IQ of 100 and 70 is the same as between an IQ of 130 and 100? Should I cancel my plans with a friend who is pretty late by this point or just wait it out? Should legal text even be called English?
I've missed you, Thinklynx.

Today my friend joined a lecture over zoom on his phone and was talking to us about how he didn't want to go and we said "are you muted" and he said "yes" but then he looked and saw that he wasn't and said "oh shit". LOL then he told the prof "my friends are leaving forever, so sorry" and the prof said "that's okay. tell your friends bye from all of us" LOLOL

I had a dream I was at my parents house and it was summer. There were a lot of people I knew hanging out in the backyard. Some were my friends and some were my parents friends. I don't know why I was in the house. I found out we had these blue popsicles and I think I ate a few of them and I took one outside. People were barbecuing. I asked where my friends were and my parents said they were next door. I headed that way and my mom looked up and saw the sun and said "why is the sun on fire? it doesn't look normal". I looked up and I didn't see the sun but I saw what looked like the earth. It looked about 5 times bigger than the sun normally does in the sky and there was fire. I couldn't tell where between myself and what I saw the fire was. My vision was better when I looked at it though. I could see the earth in the sky 1000+ times better than my normal eyesight. I could see the mountains and the clouds and the trees and all of it was on fire.
