Tao (The Way) that can be spoken of is not the Cons tant Tao’ The name that can be named is not a Constant Name. Nameless, is the origin of Heaven and Earth; The named is the Mother of all things. Thus, the constant void enables one to observe the true essence. The constant being enables one to see the outward m anifestations. These two come paired from the same origin. But when the essence is manifested, It has a different name. This same origin is called “The Profound Mystery.” As profound the mystery as It can be, It is the Gate to the essence of all life. |

No poet will ever take the written word as a substitute for the spoken word; he knows that it is on the spoken word, and the spoken word only, that his art is founded. |
Samuel Adams |
He who is void of virtuous attachments in private life is, or very soon will be, void of all regard for his country. There is seldom an instance of a man guilty of betraying his country, who had not before lost the feeling of moral obligations in his private connections. |
Jonathan Edwards |
There are two sorts of hypocrites: one that are deceived with their outward morality and external religion; and the other, are those that are deceived with false discoveries and elevations; which often cry down works, and men's own righteousness, and talk much of free grace; but at the same time make a righteousness of their discoveries, and of their humiliation, and exalt themselves to heaven with them. |
Robert Louis Stevenson |
The habit of being happy enables one to be freed, or largely freed, from the domination of outward conditions. |
Hal David |
Rap culture is interesting and different and has purpose but it has a non-romantic view of life and of social feelings. There may be a void in that. |

I don't know - the idea of a specific wine paired with a specific piece of music seems a little far-fetched to me. But maybe I just need to be opened to it. |
Thomas P. Campbell |
We live in a world of crisis, of challenge, and... it's in our galleries that we can unpack the civilizations that we're seeing the current manifestations of. |
William Falconer |
The fleet being thus more inclosed will more readily observe the signals, and with greater facility form itself into the line of battle a circumstance which should be kept in view in every order of sailing. |
Mahmoud Darwish |
Sometimes I feel as if I am read before I write. When I write a poem about my mother, Palestinians think my mother is a symbol for Palestine. But I write as a poet, and my mother is my mother. She's not a symbol. |
Johnny Depp |
If there's any message to my work, it is ultimately that it's OK to be different, that it's good to be different, that we should question ourselves before we pass judgment on someone who looks different, behaves different, talks different, is a different color. |

I can't help but think about the constant intake of plastic particles I'm consuming with every sip of coffee. Or any drink

I had a dream I was just running, like -- everywhere. Through peoples houses. One person thought I was a thief and called the cops but I was running through their garages and backyards and through this neighborhood. This one person's house was on fire and I just ran through it. I never stopped running. I was chasing cars. I kept speeding up and slowing down too. I couldn't keep a constant pace.

if i were to pass, i want people to remember how hard and tenaciously ive attempted to follow my dreams. because that alone can change their lives. so to be a constant reminder to people that you gotta keep working, doing what you love, and building possibilities it is satisfying knowing how your actually altering the direction people are taking their lives. (to something better and more true, hopefully)

The goal of chaos-driven reactions is to plant the seeds of spacetime rather than desire.
Joy is a constant. We reflect, we grow, we are reborn.

You must take a stand against bondage. Only a visitor of the totality may release this harmonizing of wisdom. Yes, it is possible to shatter the things that can obliterate us, but not without awareness on our sid...

my life is seriously constant existential crisis. i can not go a day without questioning the meaning of mine or humans existence. i will not be happy until i know the truth, and the moment of truth is immediately before death.

Our brain is subject to Theseus’s paradox, where every part of a ship is thought of as being the same ship even though every part is gradually replaced. Our sense of self is the constant expression of a primitive survival drive that actually shifts endlessly, but gives us the illusion of permanence.
